Lately I've noticed that some of the guys in my area will suddenly stop talking when I show up
Oh, so now I'm being excluded from "Man Talk"? I'm not sure how to take that
Anyway, of coarse I'm curious as to what they're talking about... So I eves dropped...
Guy 1) So was that... The girl you're talkin' 'bout?
Guy 2) Well... Walks like a duck, talks like a duck...
Guy 3) Don't forget looks and smells like a duck...
Then they broke out in laughter and made comments about noticing my breasts and wanting to eat my fish taco? What?
But I wasn't making fish tacos

Virginia, honey, they weren't talking about lunch, unless you count eating out more often.
But it is still a good thing that they see you as that girl guy 1 was talking about.

ROFL!
The whole smell thing is something I wasn't expecting. I've noticed it myself, lately.

I don't get it... walks, talks, and smells like a duck, means it's a chick? ;D :D

There's a lot of stuff I didn't actually expect during HRT... my skin is ultra soft now, and uber sensitive, and definitely smells differently. Even my urine smells different. My hair is softer. I want to sleep more, especially when stressed, and I never did that before. I cry for all sorts of reasons, sometimes even for no reason. Oh, and being excluded from "man talk" isn't really such a bad thing... they tend to be pigs when us girls aren't around anyway lol

Hi Virginia,
I think it is clearly time to forget wearing the boxers and put on the panties.
I was also told recently, there are only two things that smell like fish, and one of them is fish.
I can't smell it :embarrassed:
Must be a pheromone thing which is pretty cool to me.
Hugs Sis

The change in smell is an interesting one, to me. Also a very welcome one. While I am indifferent to women smelling like women, I always found it horrible and gross for ME to smell like a woman in any way. I feel so much better now that this has changed, even though some of it is very subtle.
I think beyond just the body odor shifts and er, private area changes, there's the less detectable pheremone changes as well. I count these all as positives, regardless of which direction we go in, as long as the 'destination' is appropriate for us. If that makes sense.

Not to be to blunt, but maybe they smelt your perfume? I don't think pheromones make it into guy talk. But its sounds like you are getting their attention regardless. :)

Hi Virginia
I know the expression.
It's something shrinks say when they want to prove their hypothesis.
Then they say: when it looks like a duck, it sounds like a duck, it walks like a duck and it smells like a duck...it must be a duck....so it's something to say that your theoretical assumption is the right one.
Maybe it's the same thing for women, when it looks like a woman, it sounds like a woman etc.
And of course you're excluded from some boy talk, for guys it's easier to talk about girls, without girls, because then they can tell how good they are with girls. If there is a girl nearby is only one phrase from the girl enough to destroy their image for a very long time.
So, for me it means that you're a girl in their eyes.
hugs
