As is customary at this time of year.  I shall reveal the top 10 most popular transsexual names of 2010.

In the FTM list it is reassuring to see that the top three names remain the same.  However, this year 'Boris' just edged out 'Roman' for fourth spot.   I am reliably informed that the name 'Choke' was gaining in popularity towards the end of the year, but just failed to make the Top Ten.

Meanwhile in the MTF list 'Trixie-Belle' remains as popular as ever, but this year we witnessed a rise in the number of old-fashioned and somewhat upper-middle class names such as 'Rowena' and 'Rebecca'.    The names 'Dolores' and 'Talulah' have long been popular with MTF's of a certain age.

Can I still be a transsexual if I dont have one of those names?

As for "Manly" I would say I'll be "Womanly"

and why not "Concrete" as  an alternative to "Brick"

Thanks for outing me! How the hell did you get hold of my name change letter????? It's weird how you know all ten of my names, I don't call that co-incidence!

 :laugh: You had me going there. At first I was thinking this would be a serious post, and that it was an interesting idea, although I am not sure how you would find out the data.

My creative writing professor Philip Hensher was trying to compile just such a list for one of his own writing projects, back along.

Perhaps we should ask Trixie-Belle and Pixie-Frou-Frou to get together with Morgana and compile a serious list!  :laugh:

Brick is a legitimate name, think of the character Brick Pollitt in Tennessee William's play Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.   One of Bob Geldorf's daughters is called Pixie Frou Frou.

It's not Geldorf it's Sir Bob Geldof, and his daughters (by several different women) are named, in order:

Fifi Trixibelle Geldof, born 31 March 1983
Peaches Honeyblossom Geldof, 13 March 1989
Little Pixie Geldof,  17 September 1990
He is also the legal guardian for:
Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily, born 22 July 1996, and who's real father was Michael Hutchence of INXS.

Geldof is an Irish Citizen and therefore not entitled to call himself 'Sir' or be addressed as such.

Gah, I had actually considered two of those names.

We all called him Sir Bob when we worked with him a few years ago and he never corrected us, of course he's smart enough to know better to bother to correct stagehands since we don't listen anyway.
