Am I the only one that doesn't want the downstairs growth?  It just freaks me out. I don't want an enlarge clit. It's not a real penis and it doesn't look like a penis and ya can't pee through it, so I don't want it. Why would I want an enlarge female part? I'd feel like a freak with an enlarge clit. This is another thing I am not looking forward to, to getting on T.

The clitoris is, in actual fact, a penis. It has a glans, erectile tissue and a shaft, just like a phenotypically male penis.
If you have a good look at the anatomy of the clitoris, it does look like a penis - albeit a small one.
Also, without a clitoris, your sexual sensation is severely compromised (to the point where you may never orgasm ever again).

I agree.  The clitoris is essentially the same thing as a penis.  It is just massively scaled down.  In fact, they both serve the same biological function (sexual stimulation).  The only real difference is that the penis has the urethra passing through it, and the ejaculate that the male parts produce.

So, I wouldn't be entirely wrong if I said that I just have a clitoris that is way too big.  And an FtM wouldn't be entirely wrong if they called their clitoris an extremely small penis.  There are more similarities between the two than differences.  The problem is that, as transsexuals, we tend to focus on the differences and ignore the similarities.  It's a matter of only seeing what you want to see, really.

Personally I look forward to this. For some reasons that aren't PG-13 so I won't mention them. But man I agree with Kvall. It is my penis and if I don't get bottom surgery it's all I got. For you it's an enlarged female part but for me it's a miniature male part. I hope someone else who sees it like you can help you out, sorry that I can't  :-\

I felt the same way when I was first looking at the effects of T. I just wanted to ignore everything down there. Even when its growth initially started, I was a little uncomfortable with it. Then I realised- now I can hold it and it can get erect. The ability to finally have an erection is really reassuring to me. It's my micropenis and I've gotten fond of it.

It looks a lot like a penis. You can get a surgery that lets you pee through it.
I can't say I can relate, its going to make certain activities more fun.

Ya, im actually with the other guys. Thats one thing im really looking forward too. But its different for everyone. Like some guys cant wait for facial hair, and then other guys are like I hate any extra hair, and Im gunna shave it all. For me the thing im looking forward to the most is my voice deepening, and anything else, well I'll be excited for any changes I may get

Dude, I know exactly what you mean. When I first read about that I was weirded out too. However, I did some more research and made myself sit down and figure out WHY it bothered me. In my case, I just don't like the idea of having a micro-penis and not being able to use it for anything. I fully intend to get bottom surgery someday...at least to have the urethra re-routed so I can pee like a champ...hehe. At any rate, now I just look at it as step 1.  ;D

And since everybody seems to me mentioning them...what I'm looking forward to the most is the voice, and an end to the Red Death. Woot!

Frankly I would have rather have noting down there, but then again that might be my asexual view of things. I'm not into sex, thus I do not have the need for any type of organs related to that. But meh, its in my pants and no one sees it so whatever.

I used to not be able to touch it at all.  Then, when I had been on T for a while, I actually looked at it.  It looked like a 1 cm teeny weenie peenie!!  Amazing!  I was able to touch it after that, and play with it.  The bigger it got, the more it looked like a weiner and the more I could treat it as such.

It's interesting that as your body changes, your perception of it changes as well.

There are guys who can't and don't think of it that way, and that's cool.  But for me what was once an icky part of girl anatomy is now that penis I always wished I had.

At first I was the same but after a while that changed and now I can't wait for my dick to grow bigger  >:-)

I've heard of guys getting up to 3", which may or may not be an exaggeration.  Even so, I think that after an inch or two it would be much easier to see it as my dick.  I was kinda freaked out by the idea at first too, but now I'm looking forward to it.

Thanks for all the responses. I'm trying to get myself used to the idea. But if I'm with a straight woman I don't want her to be weirded out.

Are these women straight? I'm only looking to date straight women.

One was straight (married and curious)....the others were/are gender queer.......they are women who act straight and look straight but want to be with a bio female who is transitioning or who has transitioned to be male.  I have dated straight women and passed as male......totally.

Test-enthenate, s-drol, anavar, winstrol, anadrol, clenbuteral (cutting cycle....leaning out), dianabol (bulking cycle)...all of these are steriods...I have cycled all of thes with testosterone to either bulk or lean.  I have never been on HGH......I have looked in to it and read up on it but I have found the results that I am looking for through what I am taking now.  HGH is very expensive.......and I can't see myself injecting in my stomach.

I just heard HGH specifically can help with dick growth.

Well as I said in an earlier post mine is about 4 inches when it's hard....3 inches soft.  Most of the time it's hard.......when you are on test you will find that your libido will be way up.  Your sex drive will be out of control........and don't forget the mood swings.  Eventually you will snap out of the mood swings.....you will learn to control them.

Seeing those pics makes me not want to get on T. I don't want that. I don't like how it's coming out of the vagina.  It's freaks me out. But the male pic looks like a vagina with an enlarge clit.

Dominick, those pics aren't of a micropenis/enlarged clitoris, they're of the genitals of fetuses in early development. Those are what everybody has in the first 12 weeks of fetal development. Don't worry, that's not what you'd get on T, at all.

An enlarged clit doesn't come out of the vagina, it's above it. It won't look like the pics. It looks (to me) like a small uncircumcised penis.

I've been on T a little over a month and I'm at a little over 2.5 inches. There are cisgender males/men that are smaller than I am. I can masturbate more like a "male." I can do SOME penetration with it but nothing substantial. Testosterone made me more mentally comfortable with my genitals. Since figuring out I was trans I've been using "male" language to describe my genitals, also made me feel better about what I got.

That's good to hear because most of the time you do get mood swings.  It is all depending on your bodys chemical make up.  If you are already a low key individual then nothing is really going to happen.

The mood swing thing is related to dosage and timing. FTMs who take an appropriate dosage to hit the "middle" range of normal guy testosterone levels (including free) mostly find taking T to be calming and/or stablilizing of moods, not creating or exacerbating mood swings. YMMV, but stabizing is far more common than mood swings.

Doctors monitor your trough to make sure you're not dropping too low, and if you are someone who does have mood swings at that point, the solution is using to inject more often (every week or 10 days instead of every 2 weeks) or to switch to gel, which has a more stable drug delivery.

The clitoris is located towards the front of your pelvis. The vagina and urethra are located further back so they don't have much to do with each other as far as when you go to pee. The one difficulty could be using an STP as your stuff may get in the way and make it more difficult to position the STP.

When the clitoris enlarges it sticks out further and looks more like a penis. With lower surgery it disconnects the inner labia folds that hold it back so it can move freely.

However, what you're talking about them pulling back is actually the foreskin (or hood). Presumably the vast majority of us have not been circumcised, and so when this part of our genitals grows, its foreskin does too. If you want to compare what it looks like, you should probably be comparing them to uncircumcised cis (non-trans) penises, not to circumcised ones.

This is kinda where I'm at. Sometimes I'd like to have a penis, and other times I just wish there was nothing down there. I'm not going to really use it for anything, so I guess it's kinda just for me. I think I'd be good with having a normal sized penis, but having a mini one with the remains of a vagina seems really weird.

Even "average" for bio guys has variable responses. How big one's genitals get I would imagine is largely determined by genetics - chemical help or not.

Yes on the meta question and average is 1-2 inches. Bio guy average is about 5".
