Title: My BEST advice to everyone and anyone!
Post by: sarahm on January 02, 2011, 12:18:10 AM
My best advice to everyone and anyone on here that actually care about passing, or who are wise, or whom are just starting out and looking for help.

Top 10 things NOT to do;
1. Don't pretend
2. Don't model yourself after another person, this is NOT being who you are, it's being who you wish you were, a transition is about becoming yourself and NOTHING ELSE!
3. Keep the pace! If you get put down by others, tell them to stick it where the sun doesn't shine!
4. Don't be too feminine! Remember! Most TS girls do NOT have a very feminine sounding natural voice and need to get voice training.
5. LESS MAKEUP IS MORE FEMININE THEN MORE MAKEUP! The more makeup you use, the more of a chinadoll effect you will have, and with any facial structure in most cases it looks totally awful. Keep it natural, with a bit of makeup, it's harder for girls starting out whom have facial hair, but try to use just enough to cover the hairs and not make yourself look like a cross-dresser. 1 work, Conservative.
6. G or M Rated pictures ONLY! Please please please!!! Don't post tons of X rated, or disgusting posed pictures as if you worked in a stripclub on the internet, or facebook! It is NOT attractive, even for girls born in the right body. So please don't do that! No one wants to see it unless they are a ->-bleeped-<- ->-bleeped-<-.
7. Don't chase boys! When I say this, remember, a boy makes you feel good, but they don't complete you, even when you are on E, you want to have a boyfriend badly, and yeah, the right one is the best feeling ever, but you can live without it, wait until you have transitioned enough to pass without makeup, and your shirt off, and you'll be fine.
8. Don't run around talking big and beating other people up... Not cool, go back to being a man if that's what you want to do. It's not an acceptable behavior for any gender, don't put a bad label on the already tainted term "Transsexual" Seriously... Just Behave!
9. Don't stab your friends in the back. If someone asks you for help, and you can't help them, help them find someone who can!
10. Get your vocabulary correct please! Don't say Tits, Balls, Ass, C**t Those words are dead giveaways, sorry but they are. I hate being called "Mate" and I live in Australia. I wish I could hit anyone that said that to me with a hammer, or other equally blunt and weighted item, but self control is a virtue, and just bide your time.

Remember to be who you are, and not a total jerk.

Yeah I understand there are some people who will disagree strongly with this, that's why the subject is "My BEST advice" so keep your negative winging to yourself,
only CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM
is allowed here.

If anyone is in Victoria Australia, I will be happy to help you achieve your goals. Please feel free to PM me. I will only be checking in here a small amount of times, as I have my SRS and will basically only help those that ask me for it, and deserve it. Despite my potentially angry, negative or unhappy sounding post, I am actually a nice person and will help those that deserve it. So let me know k? I want to see everyone who is a girl in the wrong body, to be a girl in the right body, and will help to the best of my ability to get that to happen. I have helped a few girls before.

:police:AHEM! - With the best will in the world it is for forum staff to ascertain what can and cannot be posted in a thread.

Forum Members will kindly refrain from trying to do our job for us! Thank you. Besides which the whole tone of this post looks to me like it is designed to have a dig at other users with whom the poster disagrees.

That is not permissable under forum rule so I am locking this thread before it ignites a silly flame war.  :police:
