Title: Was this caused by binding?

I hung out with a group of friends today and ate some seafood, then we went to an arcade and played DDR (dance dance revolution). But I had been using a sports bra and ace bandages to bind the entire time I was there. Even while playing the game. DDR is a game where you pretty much stomp around a lot, but in a rhythm. I played about 8 songs on it, while wearing ace bandages. And I play on one of the most difficult levels (so there is a lot more stomping and it's quicker). After the last song I played, I started feeling sick on and off. I'm not sure if it's because of eating seafood and then playing DDR, or playing DDR while binding. Plus, I have been binding from 12PM to 12AM.
Which do you think is the cause of this, the seafood or binding?

It could've been either. I suggest you get off ACE bandages ASAP. I often felt sick or faint with them from too much physical activity. It was because I was binding way too tightly with them. I'm lucky I didn't hurt myself. The next time you feel like that, take them off immediately. ACE bandages have been known to crack ribs in the cosplay community when bound too tightly, and that's when they're only used sparingly.

I took them off as soon as I got home. I don't think I was binding too tight. I usually do, but it's winter so I don't need to right now. Because I have a huge jacket that will hide the weird lumps bandages leave. I'm thinking it might have been both. I'm starting to feel better as more time goes by. So it might have been more of the ace bandages. I may need to give myself a break from them for a few days. :(

Yeah, if you can use just about anything else (aside from tape, etc), do. Ace bandages, aside from hurting like hell, can do some serious damage. I don't know if it could make you feel sick, but I notice that I get out of breath easily and that the bound area hurts after running or working out.

A break would be a good idea. How large is your chest? Would it make you feel better to wear a couple of tight sports bras?

My chest is 31"/32A. I usually don't wear anything under my shirt when I'm home though, because it's more comfortable. And in public, I have to be binding or else I will run away to my house as soon as another guy looks at me. I immediately start thinking "Oh my god, he thinks I'm a girl." and then start feeling like I'm obviously female. The last time I went out with only tight sports bras on for binding, I made it half way up the street and then walked back home. Thankfully, I don't have a job or anything. =] So I can just be a mole for a few days and not go anywhere.

Yeah, just do whatever's comfortable for you, as long as it doesn't hurt ya. :3 Better to bum around home a couple of days than to suffer an injury.

Do you know why it is?

It was most likely a mix of both. I've eaten seafood and DDR'd after and gotten all sorts of sick, so that probably exacerbated it.
I don't know if this would help for you, but it actually does halfway decent for me (and I've got a huge chest). What I've been doing is to tie a knitted scarf tightish around my chest and then layer two tighter sports bras over it. Then again, I'm fat/lumpyish so...I wouldn't really have a 'flat' chest as is.

Thanks for the help. =] It would probably only work as good as these ace bandages have been working. I'm really skinny, so it would probably just make me look like a 12 year old girl XD That's what ace bandages do to me. :( But I will be getting a proper binder soon, so then I won't have to use the bandages anymore. They kill me so much lol

Well, that's good at least. I've heard everywhere that the ace bandages are pretty much the worst possible thing you can do. I'm pretty sure that my half-assed method isn't much better, but you do what you can to deal with this ->-bleeped-<-, ja?

Yeah. =] To me, ace bandages are better than going out without any binding. I've gotten pretty used to them though, so now they aren't really painful for me. They just are bad for my health.
Anyways, thanks for your help. =) not sure if I already said that or not.

Not a problem, seriously. If I've got anything useful, I'm always more than happy to put it out there.
I'd probably use them too if they worked for me, I just end up with a massive, odd-looking uniboob thing.
