Title: (Breast) Growing Pains?
Post by: Britney♥Bieber on January 06, 2011, 09:57:57 AM
Well I've been reading about the awful pain that girls go through when getting their boobies, and I have to say, three months on hrt and I think I'm finally getting there. Maybe. Like the first month I experienced some soreness or tightness where my breast buds are now, but nothing happened. Oct 31rst is the first day I could feel my breast buds an a week later, wouldn't ya know they hurt like a bitch and if anything touches them, well you know the feeling. Well anyways I haven't really been experiencing pain like other people have been talking about but I think its starting. Yesterday therapy the right one got a really big like twinge of pain in it for like maybe a minute or two. I actually had to struggle not to let it affect the way I was talking lol. And now I kinda feel as if I was working my boobs out last night and they are sore, but how do youwork out boobs? lol. Wello anyways not sure what the point of this thread is. Maybe its simply a question, what is breast growing pain like exactly? Is it constant and dull, is it just when you touch the buds? Is it twinges through out the day? I hope my boobs grow :)

Britney, for me it was a combination of all 3 things you said in your last sentence. This should all gradually go away after 1.5 years tops. Your mileage may vary, so happy youre seeing growth Britney. :)

Add itching to that list.

Itching-yes that- only with pain. And just wait until you bump into something, or pick up a box or something forcefully, or scratch your nip with your fingernail or watchband or ... you get the idea. I recently reduced my dose and the pain has decreased dramatically but they still itch.

Yes, what Angela said. Plus itching around the nipples. I also get strange sensations as I am becoming much more aware of the nipples hardening from cold and, uh, other stuff  ::) And as Randi mentioned, I hurt myself at least once a day in ever changing ways.

Oh I've already scratched them plenty, I've also tried to pick up boxes, doesn't work. :(

Sneezing, coughing, stretching your arms out to the side, reaching to pull the covers off in the morning and catching yourself with a nail...the list goes on.

I think it's kinda funny that pulling a shirt down too fast/hard hurts SO bad.

Oh yeah... I forgot to mention on one of your earlier threads that the real painful boobie stuff starts usually about the third month

The first few months you're thinking... "This isn't so bad, but they do itch and seem a bit irritated"

But no worries... They don't hurt all the time... Just during growth spurts which happen about every 3 months and last most of that time each time... You'll get a week or so break here and there

Welcome to womanhood  :)

Oh, beware of opening doors too quickly... A quickly opened door bonking the boobie is literally quite the scream  :icon_yikes:

I hope I'm not behind! I'm in my fourth month and haven't had anything really bad =/

That's just a generalization, everyone develops differently so don't worry on a particular time table

Has something that looks kinda like a pitcher's mound developed behind your nipples?

And if you have pets, they will find a way to step directly on your boobs. My cats like to walk across me when I'm asleep, and have a knack of stepping directly on at least one of mine... And it's not exactly a pleasant way to wake up. My neighbours probably wonder what the loud gasps and swearing are all about on the other side of the wall, at 3 AM. Lol...

When I started wearing a bra, (and a binder at work where I wasn't out to them) I didn't do it because they were big enough to warrant one, it was to keep my nipples from rubbing against my shirt.... wow was that unpleasant.

Oh, and yes, no carrying boxes against your chest anymore... carry them low.

I am at 32 months and I still have some tenderness in the breasts.  You may still have them years from now.  Just think what our cis-sisters go thru.

10.5 months in, I still hurt.

I get different kinds of pain all at different times. Sometimes they'll throb, this is rare. Sometimes they'll just sting, this is also rare. But 100% of the time, they're sensitive, and it hurts to hit them against anything, even hugs have proven to be torturous.

I am getting sort of used to the tenderness, and I am innately avoiding things that would cause pain. The pain seems to come and go, some days it's not as tender, and some days it's really really tender. I can't wait until they're done growing so I can stop being in pain all the time.  :embarrassed:

Another danger can be your own children. I've had my son accidentally elbow me or smack a tender area with his head if we are doing something like laying together on the couch watching TV. He hasn't gotten used to daddy having boobies! Poor kid. Not too good for me either.

Yes they've been puffy for the past two months, and are deffinitely growing. Idk why I kinda freaked out. I guess I figured they're growing to slow idk.

Oww I can't imagine =X Well actually I imagine it would hurt less than slamming a door into them (done it about three times, all when I was on the verge of tears for various reasons ugh)

As long as I have some nice boobies and cute cleavage I'll put up with the pain. :D

My two nieces are living with us, but I'm lucky neither of them have smacked it yet lol.

I've been on HRT for about seven months and they are only a little sore, and only sometimes, and they're not growing particularly fast.  The nipples just kinda swelled in the first month and then kinda stopped.  Is this possibly a sign that I need to talk to my doctor about dosage?

I'm not a dr but you should talk to one. I think it's weird that they started and then stopped. Once my nipples swelled up they haven't gone done. I'm only on month four but you should talk to a dr. Something might be stopping you from developing correctly.

In 16 days time i'll hit my 5 month mark...mine actually don't hurt as much as they did. Things are tender, but not that tender. It's still weird getting used to sleeping with them tho...lying on my front is quite and odd experience now.

Definitely.  I think I noticed the same thing around that time.  I'm at 9 and a half months and they still feel that way.  The nipples aren't particularly puffy any more - the contour is finally starting to even out a bit.  They're finally looking more like real boobs instead of awkward little mound thingies.  Mine have never been particularly painful either.  It's definitely noticeable if I whack them or something, but it's more like "ow, that hurt" pain instead of jaw-dropping pain.

Lucky! When I touch one too hard it's like ow that hurt but I've whacked them with doors (car and house...a few times each actually), scratched them, or just plain hit them. My bestie used to hit me in the chest like, we just hit each other like I'll see her and be like OMG and slap her arm or leg lol. She did it last night :'(

Seeing as I was born with a stupid chest, I feel like I can post on this. Hope you don't mind ladies.

For me it was a dull yet constant pain. However, when I touched them too hard or something accidentally hit them, the pain was sharp. They were also very tender, especially around the base and the nipple. I also experienced some bruising or dark coloration around the nipple but that only lasted a few days and wasn't anything too serious.

Hope that helps. xD

I was concerned about them too so I asked my mom. She said it was normal so I didn't worry too much. Plus they went away about after a week and had normal coloration after that. The only thing was that they were very sensitive so I had to watch out for that.

Growing boobs are magnetic.

The Law of Sod says that people/animals/objects will be greatly attracted to your newly growing, highly sensitive and very painful breasts. Often at high speed. And with a lot of force.

Wear a bra with a lot of good support and adopt a defensive posture around small children. They smell fear and boobs.

I don't get this, I had no pain with growing boobs, only with running braless. What is this? Maybe mine are really fake.  That has to be it since I should never had gotten them anyway.

Britney, you can have em, painless and all.
