Title: Relatively Confused... Sexual Arousal. MTF
Post by: sarahm on January 23, 2011, 09:20:26 AM
Ok,
So, on the 8th of January at about 11PM GMT+7 in Bangkok at the RAJBURANA HOSPITAL, I had my SRS.

My doctor, Dr Saran, explained to me that I will have feelings of Arousal start coming back to me on around my 10th day of recovery. I have been getting odd feelings since my 8th day of recovery, like something in the inside of my lower regions is hard, as if like an erection but without the throbbing or sensation. It is more or less an uncomfortable feeling but it's hard and it's familiar in some way. Is this me being sexually aroused ?

The doctor did say that I have recovered unusually fast, considering I am recovering from SRS AND Measles too. And not to mention, I have an unusually sensitive lower region (my genitals already have some sensation back in them, but my gosh the amount of pain I have felt!) For instance, in the shower I had this feeling of sensation when water was running through my labia, it felt painful at first, but then changed to feeling nice (I didn't have this feeling as if I had an erection at that point)

Can anyone clarify this feeling for me?

Just to reiterate the amount of pain I feel, I cannot clean just above or on my clitoral hood because I feel a large amount of pain / pressure sensation even from the slightest touch. I have minor numbness in the area (inside of my Labia Majora (I have feeling in my labia minora though), and around the vaginal opening) Everywhere else I have feeling.

The doctor said he was impressed with how fast my recovery is, on the 7th day, I could walk normally. Only problem with this is, when he removed the catheter and packing, I was in excruciating pain, when he dilated me for the first time, I screamed (not pleasure, the sensation did not feel nice) and I cried.

I feel bad for the nurse who's hand I squeezed when they removed the catheter and packing, and I feel bad for my doc removing the stitches, and dilating.

The feeling of having an erection lasted for a few months with me.  It's annoyng and uncomfortable but will eventually go away

I have definitely noticed sexual arousal...for me it start happening past 2 weeks or so. It didn't really feel like an erection though...just kind of 'hot and bothered' down there.
