Washroom Discrimination?

An article out of Brazil poses the question: Are so-called "gender-neutral" washrooms there, designed for "gay and transgender" people to use, a form of discrimination?

Interesting . . . We talk about installing gender-neutral washrooms in Canada for everyone to use so that there would be no more squabbling over the washroom issue, but it seems some dance schools in Brazil are creating them for gays and "->-bleeped-<-s" only to use -- on an optional basic, they say. Some gays there feel it is discriminatory, while others feel it creates safe havens for them. Apparently, homophobia is a "pressing issue" in that country.
