Title: High school and transitioning.
Post by: Ribbons on January 30, 2011, 12:29:47 AM
I'm changing schools soon, twice most likely. If I'm lucky, I'll begin a school during September. But we're moving, so I'm gonna change again.

I suppose that means I must come out to my parents soon. So that I can go to school as a boy, rather then randomly "become" one in the middle of high school.

But if not, what do I do?

I'm the sort of kid that blends into the background (literally, people have even called me a ninja because I'm so unnoticeable and quiet). Aside from my test scores, I'm a rather unnoticeable kid as a girl.

But if I transition in the middle of the year, what could that do?

Make you colorful and memorable besides getting your diploma in the correct name.

Ribbons.

The question is, can you come out to your mom and get her support?

If both are true, then you can go to your new school as you. If either is a not, then you'll need to go as a girl.
