Amazing news regarding the sex marker change. I'm basically in the same situation, and it looks like I'll have it done tomorrow. Unfortunately, I can only change my drivers licence, and maybe my passport.

Make a script so you are not getting yourself lost.  Stop playing with your hair.  Gods you are such a girl.

Congrats on the new script.  And yes it makes a big difference when the old D/L says "F".

How expensive are injectables? I finally made an appointment with a new doc (and got rid of the clueless doc) for next week, and I was gonna ask him about switching to injectable E, so I really wanna know what you find out! It'd be hard to come near the $5/mo I'm paying for estradiol right now, but maybe it's worth it??

(BTW... By the look on its face, that cat wants out!  :P jk)

Edit: Don't complain about the "cold" weather! I enjoyed walking to my car this morning through a foot of fresh snow!!

Umm I haven't found out the price yet, I'll let you know once I get it though. :D It could be anywhere from 50-100 lol but the script I got is gonna last for twenty weeks. For me, I don't mind paying a high price, if needed. I don't like taking the oral estrodiol under my tongue. EVERY day. and I just feel like shots work better

It's unfortunate that you have to pay for your visits now, but hey, worth it in the long run right?

My only problem is, 1. I wasn't told I'd need to pay before hand so I was caught off guard, and 2. Its not that I just don't want to pay, but paying 76 dollars for bloodwork and then 35 to learn how to self inject, that's 100+ dollars that I can't spend on my name change. Add in my gas to get to work and stuff (cutting back on driving to store etc only necessities for now) about 200 a month and it's like I just feel like what am I working so hard for? Its just tough. I realized my Friday paycheck is going to be approx 300 dollars but then -76 for the blood work then -35 for the injection lesson, and -50 ish for gas leaves me with like 100? =[ Gahh its just stressfulllllllllll

It's weird that they didn't let you know beforehand, but just keep telling yourself that it's all going into a good cause.  (Yes, you definitely count as a good cause.  :P )  Would it be possible to pick up more hours at work or something along that line?

I don't think it would. But if hours don't pick up I am going to look for a second job. :)
And yes it is going to a good cause. If I wasn't doing this, then why have a job, bother living etc. So this is what I have to do live. Its just hard. =[

Britney that's amazing!  Getting a name change is fairly easy, it just takes some time to get everything set up.  It was weird when I got mine changed as it had an incredibly feminine name on it but still had the m.

I was going to post about getting the letter changed to F yesterday (titled: Apparently I fail at sex) but your good news beat me to it.

Haha it may be easy but it's gonna cost me 655 dollars!!!!!!!!!!! BITCHES. I hope the name& gender change doesn't cost more. :(
