Title: O hai

Been checking this place out for a bit and it's now time to report back that I likes it!
I'm enjoying the larger than I'm used to contingent of fellas as well as the lack of patronising from the women, I've been on too many sites where I felt like the men were some kind of fun mascot for the women. It gets old quick. This place has a feel of comradery, so kudos.
Anyhoo, the name's Kade, I'm your average 30 year old easily-excitable Aussie vegetarian queer boy trapped in a chick's body, you know the old tale. ::) I hope to be on T in about 2 months, it's been a long slow process to get there but it's well within sights now, I have the best family in the universe who place my happiness above all else, a straight boy partner who hasn't run away screaming, and two gorgeous kittens who are learning to cough up their fur balls on the tiles not the carpet, life's looking on the up and up and I'm feeling better than I have since I was 13 and blissfully unaware of the evils awaiting me in the form of puberty.
And to throw Janet off and force her to write something other than her standard MUST READ THESE LINKS post, I've already read em! So :-*

Welcome to the crowd! I used the same tactic on Janet in my introduction. Lots of people here to talk to, and no, you won't be a mascot! Hugs, Tracey

Sorry Jan - all in good fun... honest! (I am so in trouble when she sees this! ;))

We can have mascots?!?! JANET!!!
Sorry, Kade, sometimes the silly overtakes me.
We are glad you are here, guy. Actually you can confuse Janet, but she hides it well under a shell of unflappability.
Having the support of your family is truly a gift. And to have a supporting partner is so wonderful. Please tell him that he is welcome here as well. We have quite a number of S.O.'s and allies. There are also forums for them where they can talk about their issues as well.
How did you convince the kittens to put their hairballs on tile and not carpet? I'd like to teach that to mine! If nothing else how to convince them that putting a hairball in mommy's shoes is really not appropriate...
-Sandy

Of course we don't patronize our male members. That just so sexist. Now be a good boy and just sit there, being good looking. Good boy. Have a biscuit.
Hey He opened the door to silliness, Sandy. ;)

Thanks all for the love, attention and well-wishing-bites.
He is supportive, for sure, but he's scared for me and doesn't think it's the right thing to do. He honestly is as supportive as your average heterosexual guy could be but I wouldn't invite him here as I unfortunately already know that physical changes mean our relationship changes to a friendship. Whatcanyado? I'm sad that things will end but I have to put myself first or I'll have nothing to give anyone else.
If I actually knew what worked I'd bottle it and sell it, I'm not fighting it, and I'm sure taking credit for it, but I fear it may just be coincident.
Lol!
Pfft, coulda got more out of me for a biscuit! *sits*

Don't take it too personally, Kaden, Mama Janet tells all of us how things are. :p
Welcome to Susan's, Kaden!
As I am sure you already know we are a tight knit community, and everyone here is quite kind and generous with their support. I am glad that you are so witty and have such apt humor, you will surely fit in here.
I look forward to reading more of your posts.
Hugs,
Jacquelyn
