I was just thinking,
why do we as a group have a hard time telling our family and friends.?
why are we afraid to tell our Mom and Dad?
why are we concerned with how our friends will view us if we tell them?
why is it so hard to tell our loved ones?
why is it some or even most of our loved ones think we are crazy after telling them?
Why do peoples atitudes change (most of the time they change in a bad way)  after telling them?
why does GID hurt so much
why cant I stop thinking about the GID
One last WHY---
WHY can't some super smart person invent a device to instantly change us to the gender we were supposed to be?
I guess it is just one of those bad days for me, I have had kidney stones and that is pain, but I am surprised how much pain you can feel from GID, it is not a physical pain like a K. stone but it hurts just as bad and more sometimes, but I noticed when I was in the hospital for my K. stones I was hooked up to the IV and I had morphine that I would press the button when I needed to, for the k. stone pain, well it helped the k. stone pain real fast and real good but it did nothing for the pain from the GID :(

AMEN SISTER! All relevant questions that are poignant and I certainly relate to them. I am actually working that machine you mentioned. I am so close to getting it to work. I have had some failed experiments...I turned a cat into a puddle of orange juice, with pulp...that was my first try. The next effort turned a cat into a cat....FAIL. My last attempt turned the cat into a beautiful snow fox fur shawl. Now the last attempt may still seem far away from my goal, but keep in mind, it was a male cat and the fox fur shawl is a feminine article clothing. I consider that progress.

99% of the world can't understand and or deal with crazy change. Most people see TG issues as "crazy stuff" so they don't deal well... and we know it so we have trouble telling people because we know they are going to freak out. But thus is life you deal with it or you don't.

Most people are ignorant, and happy to remain so because they are too lazy to ask the hard questions.  And when they do, they generally fear that their self-image will be  diminished in some way, so they attack what they don't understand. 

The only way to experience changes is unfortunately to live them in real time, which takes a lifetime I'm afraid.

Patriarchy, as a product of the current soceo-economic system, has created a system by which gender roles exist and are socially enforced.  By challenging what gender is, what it means to be of a certain gender, and the idea of the freedom to "change gender" (in the eyes of the more ignorant of the cisgender community) we are thrown to the fringe, as we are a threat to the status quo.

Therefore, given the indoctrination of most people, something that should be no big deal suddenly becomes a big deal because we are rebelling against social norms and entering the realm of social unacceptability.

Yeah.  Change is hard.  If people don't understand the nature of that change, it is even harder.

I liken it to begin tortured to death by a funny looking clown.

your screaming in anugish and pain as it gradually kills you but he just goofs around when anyone else is looking and you tell pepole and most of them will laugh.

When you suddenly and publically punch the clown in the face and beat it to death everyone hates you and ostrisices you and like some sick joke for an indeterminate period you will look like a clown and be laughed at as you fail to pass in public v.v

Why is very easy to answer.  It is because no one in the right mind would go through this whole thing.

Now does that mean we are muy mal de la cabeza.  No it means what it says.  If we are male-bodied, as I am, we should have a male mind.  But I am female in my mind, therefore I am not in my right mind for having a male body.  Does this mean I should be reeducated in to thinking male>

No.  And hell No.  It is much easier to alter the body to fit the mind.  But the outside is what everyone see.  And they see a male.  Even after months and years, those how knew us before still seeing that male.  But keep working on presentation and you will be seen as female ( or male in case of the guys ). 

Then the whys will be answered.
