Title: Tinkerbell, how is she?
Post by: Sheila on January 12, 2007, 09:39:55 PM
I was wondering if anyone has heard from Tink? I thought maybe there would be some news from her. I hope she is doing good and in good spirits.

I tried to find her but was unsuccessful.  So the official word is that there is no word.  I'm bummed... I sure would like to talk to her.

I guess the best thing we can assume is that "No news is good news".  I'm sure she's OK.

QuoteI will stay in the hospital for nine days after surgery, so if everything goes as expected and I don't develop any complications, I will returning back to California on the 17th of January...

...thank you and I guess I will see you online on the 17th when I return home.

Depending on surgeon and procedures, I'm guessing the pack will have just or will soon come out and she just may be a bit more mobile. I didn't manage to get downstairs to a public terminal to pick up emails until about 7 days after the op and it took a hell of a long time to shuffle down there as well... she has her mother and aunt with her so I'm sure that she's been well taken care of. :)

Thank you Stormy, I don't remember all or read all of the post on here. I hadn't heard from her in a while and I knew she was having surgery, was just worried about not hearing on how she was. Thank you again. I will still worry, but relieved to know that there will be no communication for a while. My prayers for fast recovery are for her.

Tink will be fine.

I never got out of bed until 5 days after my op and that was only for a shower and the nurses to wash my hair.

After removal of the packing, all I did was sleep, dilate and sleep. It was 3 days before I even made it to the hotel lobby to use the internet.

Give her time.
