Hey everyone!
I am an MtF pre-everything - don't know if/when I will be able to start things for that.
I guess in a few words, when I was young, I played many video games. I lived in a neighborhood that only had one other kid, but he was always busy with church and the like, which my parents never would encourage until I showed interest myself, some time in high school. Well - I don't have any memories of playing with 'little girl toys' or anything, as there never were such things within my reach... but I do know that around age 4, I would almost always choose the female character if available for a video game. Two examples I remember quite well were Mario 2 - I'd always use Peach, and Lolo 3 - I'd always use the pink ball with a ribbon instead of the blue one. As I got older, I became self conscious of this, but still chose the female option almost always.
Some time in highschool, after observing in the background my whole life, I decided that I should have been a girl. I was completely unaware that I had a choice (even if that choice involves lots of hard work it's still a very valuable choice). As highschool went on, I started playing less and less video games, but continued to wish that I had been a girl... And here I am about to graduate from college, nothing has changed much...
Well, that's me. I probably won't be on too too much, but maybe I'll check things a few times each week... I look forward to meeting people here, and some day (hopefully soon) being able to fix things.
PS. I have always have a brain that likes to know "Why?" For this particular case, I will be ok without an answer... I don't need a why as to who I am... But I do know that before I was born, my dad got an indoor dog, which my mom is allergic to. As a result, my mom had to start taking an asthma inhaler (catabolic steroid... in many ways opposite of testosterone, I think). I also know that according to a page that was off of the Vanderbilt website, steroid use during pregnancy can result in 'pseudohermaphridism.' I was wondering if anyone here knows if they were exposed to steroids (anabolic or catabolic) before they were born. I'm not an expert with the forum structure, or making polls... but if someone else would be interested in making a poll on this subject I would love to see the results.

No your intro wasn't long.
Many of us here don't know why we were wire female but have/had male parts.

Welcome to our little family. Over 5500 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.
Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams. Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.
But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister. :icon_hug:
