Title: I'm losing patience with my Mom

I've never met anyone who was more stubborn and idiotic, she thinks she knows everything but she knows nothing about the world. She doesn't back up her arguments, she just goes with what she assumes. She's also easily offended, yet that doesn't stop her from berating or emotionally abusing me. Yesterday I was arguing with her about something on I saw on a clip from Oprah about a mother who raped her son. Imediately after I ended up going to my room and crying my eyes out, because I know she's too stubborn to ever accept me as a transsexual, a kathoey. I'm absolutely terrified she'll disown me and cut me off from the rest of my family, or worse, kill herself, either one is likely to happen. She's a crazy, uneducated, and unstable bitch who needs therapy, if that would even help her.
God, this whole thing is stressing me out, the money, my family, possible regrets, I don't know how all of this would work the way I want it to.....

Maybe you can get her to go to a therapist with you, and hopefully a "professional opinion" will carry more weight.
At least you live somewhere that accepts the fact that we actually exist, so that's a start.

I haven't exactly told her yet, but I know how she'll react. I may try to take her to a therapist, but I'm sure she'd just refuse to go.
