I don't know how to follow the rules here and will just break them. I don't like social norms and too much smothering. I was on a regular blog site and caught way less grief than I catch here! Toio many drama queens. I'm just different. I don't need the help anyways and only came back to share what I know, but my ideas are to advanced and I wind up getting torn apart. (From my last account).

It's the internet, nothing can ever be deleted, or forgotten. What you wrote, (and it's ISP provider codes) lives on forever.

Hi tsfriend,
I have been on this forum for quite a while and have only met dear, caring and compassionate people here who will go out of their way to help others.
If you can't follow the rules, I think you may possibly have the wrong attitude to start with. Funny, I've yet to meet any drama queens here. The people posting here have genuine concerns and worries about various issues.
If you don't need help then WTF are you doing here?? Yes, maybe you are too different, I would'nt know, I've never met you.
If your previous blog site made you catch less grief, then go back there. We are not stopping you, are we?

I agree that rules are not needed by regular posters (if they are strong enough), but if you are the forum's moderator, you would have an easier time by having rules to help regulate the quality of the postings. And for the readers who search for useful information, they will have an easier time too.
I can see that you seems to have advanced ideas to share here to help others, but that no one seems to notice, nor able to fathom them, but why do you need to care about the others' reactions? If you place heavy emphasis on other's favourable reactions to your post, you impose heavy pressure on yourself too, then its best not to participate in forum as you would have greater peace of mind by quiting.

Quote from: tsfriend on March 28, 2011, 12:08:05 AM:police: Right well normally I wouldn't do this but as TSFRIEND has been unwise enough to effectively protest an official moderator action in his/her parting post (itself a breach of forum rules) let me explain a few things to those who did not see the vile and grossly offensive post that nearly got him/her banned - and which was almost certainly the trigger for this deletion request.

The rules on this forum exist solely for the purpose of preventing people from hurting and offending one another, whether deliberately or accidentally.
99% of our users have no trouble following them.
Plenty of our users like to push the boundaries and challenge, but there is a difference between that and posting things which are obscene or gratuitously offensive.
This thread is undoubtedly the fall out from just such a thread posted by TSFRIEND and which I deleted. It was grossly OBSCENE in its language and served no purpose but to incorporate as many swear words and overtly sexual depictions of abuse as possible in one thread! It had caused great offense to many many people including me!
(And those of you who know me will know that I am pretty robust, broad minded and unoffendable so you may take it that this one was ultra ultra vile!)
People who are rude and foul mouthed often hide behind the excuse of "oh well my ideas are too advanced for you." The truth is somewhat the reverse. The truth is TSFRIEND came a hairs breadth from being outright banned, as will anyone else who goes down the route of such so called "advanced ideas," which were in fact just an excuse to swear, mouth off, and depict obscene sexual acts.
Such an act, in an open section of the forum which can be seen by any passing minor, is simply irresponsible and is unacceptable by ANY reasonable standards.
It is good to challenge - it is good to question - it is good to debate. It is NOT good to be offensive and rude. We do not all have to agree on everything but our community has the right to expect that they can come here and interact online in a civilised manner.
That is all that needs be said on this. There is no room for debate.
