Title: Surgery loans, etc
Post by: zombiesarepeaceful on April 02, 2011, 10:11:11 PM
I'm scheduled to get my surgery letter in May.
I plan on going to Dr. Medalie, since I live only an hour from him.
Question is, does anyone know about their financing options? I emailed his secretary but I don't expect a response til Monday.
Also, for someone with poor credit, is there any hope of getting a loan...anywhere? I don't care if I'm paying back for the rest of my life. I'm at the point where I would kill for top surgery. Literally, probably. The dysphoria is eating me alive.
So, yeah. Any useful insight would help.

No, I have no one to cosign. I don't plan on going to college at all.

If you search Dr. Garramone FTM on google and go into the financing page on their site, there are a list of surgery loan sites to check out. I'm not sure if you need someone to cosign on them if you have bad credit, but you commonly do in those situations. You can still have a look anyway, check out your options.

Somethings to think about. Medical loans are often high interest and bad credit loans even higher if they are made at all. These or more of the legal loansharking things that are going on.

Cause everybody I know is stuck with college loans that they'll be paying off for life. I don't think that college gets you anywhere in life. I know I wouldn't finish college. I dropped out of high school and got my GED cause I don't focus well. I work 12 hrs a day, which would make college impossible.
