Title: when does the T, double chin go away?
Post by: Elijah3291 on April 05, 2011, 09:12:47 PM
I am happy with all of the changes from t so far except for one. this damned double chin.  Ive always been pretty thin, and dont have much body fat, but a month of so on T I got extra water weight just under my jaw, and for some reason im super self conscious about it, i worry that everyone looks at it, and when i see it in the mirror I get grossed out.  its not HUGE, but its noticeable if my face is in the right angle.

how long does this water retention phase last? is there anything I can do to speed up the process?

I've always had a double chin, but if anything once starting T the double chin got smaller.

I don't think I ever got that.  My jaw line got much sharper almost immediately upon starting T.

Most guys get a chubby stage during the first year of T and it's different for everyone. Mine only lasted 3 months max.

I had the weird double chin thing too. I noticed that at that time, my face was really broken out too. My T levels were too high; I cut my dose and my chins lol went away.

If, in your case, it is water weight, drink more water! Your body holds onto water if you're not getting enough!
