Ive read in seavral places about seavral iron age finds which had female grave goods and burial with male skeletons in both kent - uk and sweden, but not been able to find any more info, I know the ones from then (iron age) also have some litriture to go with the finds from the time (tacitus - germania, can't remember the exact bit but it was at the back somewhere) and some from a bit later on in varied sorces from the viking age, if any one knows a link or info about the finds id love to read them, esp the ones in Kent.

It is known that in lots of cultures TS and TG people were revered as Shaman. By being between genders, they were regarded as being closer to the spirit world than other people.

The First People here in the States did the same thing.
Closer to god? Some days I feel like God must have had a he** of a hangover when he made me.
I find it interesting that through out history, people like us existed.

I am seeing this same Prague skeleton, who is not a caveman nor proven anything, on several threads here on Susan's. Lets try to herd this thing into one thread?

I guess it could have even been easier for transpeople in those times. The people that lived then where so dependend on eachother that they couldn't risk casting people out and thus treated other people with more respect. Nowadays it doesn't matter if you make someones live missarable because there such an immence system that is realy makes no effect (except if you live in a realy small village). But this is ofcourse just speculation, I could as well be wrong.
