Title: Cost of Estrogen in Ontario?
Post by: Rachel Bellefountaine on April 11, 2011, 11:26:19 AM
My doctor started me up on Spiro this weekend, which is luckily covered by my drug plan, but I'm going to be starting on Estrogen pills in a little while too, which is not covered, and can't find any up to date information on the price in Ontario. The two main ones that I've been researching are premarin and estradiol, so if anyone here is from Ontario and can tell me how much they pay for HRT, can they please let me know?

Thanks. :)

Hello Rachel,

I'm using Estrogel (obviously the gel form) and it's a cost of $100 for a three months supply. I did ask what the pills cost and was told it was $30, but I didn't clarify if that was for 1 month or 3 (I believe 3).

Best of Luck!

Well, since this thread is already here :)

Where is a good place to get injectable estrogen cheaply?  I'm switching over from pills soon.  One of my friends said hers costs about $50 per month at Walgreens, which seems a little steep compared to my ~$10 per month estradiol pills.  If that's what I have to pay I'll do it, but cheaper would be nice.
