Title: Dating Question
Post by: gwenamos on April 15, 2011, 07:27:50 AM
Apologies if this is in the wrong forum - I just need some advice. I have this friend, we'll call her Sally, that I would like to ask out. I sometimes get the impression from her that she would say yes if I asked. The problem is that she doesn't know I'm trans. Should I come out to her first, before asking her out, or ask her out first, then come out to her? I feel like I would rather do the latter, but that the former is more ethical. What do you folks think?

I should add I'm MTF and have not had SRS yet.

imho if you live (and ask) as F you can ask her first and then come out
If you ask her as M you should say it all at once

Yes I'm living full-time as female now and she's never known me as anything else.
