Title: Temporary HRT
Post by: padfoots666 on April 27, 2011, 09:28:04 AM
Is there such a thing as temporary HRT? I'm a FTM and I would like to get certain changes such as the change in hairline, lower voice, and facial hair but I don't think I'm financially ready for a lifetime of HRT. Is it possible to go on HRT for say 6 months?

It certainly is possible, but I personally wouldn't want to have my body go through a major change in the dominant hormone more than once.  I think you would see better results if you were to start HRT and continue versus starting HRT, stopping HRT, then starting again.  I also do not believe you would see the results you seek from just 6 months on T.
