Title: Is there something I can use to soften my lips
Post by: Julie1957 on April 28, 2011, 08:13:28 AM
My lips are not soft and smooth.  Lipstick doesn't help.  Without lipstick they get dry and very rough.  Is there something that will make your lips soft?

Thanks Siren.  I do use lip balm (various ones) but that seems to only help for half an hour and then they get wrinkled and rough again.  Is there something that works more permanently?

Drink more water.  Part of the problem is that you are slightly dehydrated.  Also put moisturize on your lips as part of your facial regime.

Chapstix.  And yes you have to put it on often.

Bath and body works has a line of Moisturizing lip creams, balms  and shines.  I have some that are flavored and they last a real long time.  I think you can get some that don't color you lips if that is a problem.  I just love all of their products.  I go when they have there semi-annual sale and stock up.
