Hi.

My name is Brian. I'm younger.

For about the past 2 years, I've known there was something up regarding my sexuality. About a year or so ago, I determined that I felt like, though I was born male, I should be female. I've been in the very slow process of determining when and where to tell my friends and family, as well as telling them. Most of my friends have said they saw it coming, but weren't too sure what. I'm lucky to have the supportive friends and family that I do, I feel.

A good thing you've support, at your age you're vulnurable.
But it's a great advantage to be young and to know who you are and what you want to be.
I think you're a brave girl to come out to your relatives and it's great they take it well.
You're life can start over again, but now you can do it in the right gender.
I'm curious about your(future) progress, please keep us updated.

Wow. Quite the welcome :) Thanks so much. I'm glad to be here.

Just a quick note to the admins, I didn't see the age thing before I posted that, so thank you for changing that.

For anybody who is interested, my username is made up of the name that I go by amongst friends and when I'm dressed as a girl. I go by Amanda, so if you all would like to call me by that name, go right on ahead.

I never thought the transgender community was this big. I mean, I figured they weren't a teensy tiny group of people, but I never would have thought this many.

I actually found out about this forum watching videos, and said hey that sounds like someplace helpful to go to. I came here and after lurking around for a bit, I decided to register and say hi.

Greetings young one. Hope you enjoy it here. Glad that you were able to find your friends to be sportive. That's very fortunate. Some don't have the same situation, so it should be very helpful that you do. But hope you have a fun time here:)
