I thought he is actually really well spoken and informed. Maybe they see him as a threat to their hateful ways and negative views on diversity or ..something. Chaz is brilliant... but maybe I'm bias? *shrugs*. Regardless he's an awesome person.

FOX news on the other hand................. well....

Oh the Fox News people, and their followers think they 'understand' science, they just don't LIKE it.

More like, Fox News chooses to not understand reality.

They're catering directly to a rather narrow-minded, rabid viewership, specifically to sell advertising and bring in revenue.  Rupert Murdoch knows how to bring in the money, and has always used sensationalism to do it.

"Psychotic" sounds pretty damn litigious to me.  How much do you think Chaz could sue them for?

Yes, he chose to have famous parents and to appear on their show at age four or whatever. Okay, I know what you mean, but he was born in the limelight and, to some extent, would have had a difficult time escaping it completely. With Cher such a big star, I don't see how he could.

The way I understand it, the public figure exclusion (or whatever you call it) doesn't completely absolve a legitimate case of slander or libel, but it sets the bar much, much higher than for non-public figures. Anyway, Ablow was couching his remarks in the context of a professional opinion, something he says he was taught about all trans people. Considering that he must have done his professional training a good twenty years ago, he may well have been taught that. It would be nice if he would actually get up to speed on the current professional consensus, however.

Pity he doesn't live here with our libel laws.

I was thinking that it's professionally (and humanly) irresponsible to diagnose someone you've never met or talked to, but the jerk gets around it by saying that HIS training taught him that we're all mad. Ablow blows.

Or maybe I should say that it's a low blow from Ablow.
