Title: Shrinkage
Post by: Ashley_C on May 22, 2011, 01:15:56 PM
I've been reading that on HRT shrinkage seems to be a common thing.

I was just wondering how common as someone who is not planning on GRS.

Atrophy of the testes is unavoidable if you are on HRT.  Your other parts do not shrink.

Testes I don't care about. I just heard the other parts do, too.

They probably will...all you can do is stretch them  ;)

Yes.  Think about it...  :)

I have not experienced this and don't think that others do either.  They may *appear* smaller, but they don't truly atrophy like the testes do.

Yeah, that's what I thought you were talking about...

Yes, use um or loose um. As for me, I believe I have lost about 50% of the size of the testes and other parts.  Doesn't bother me in the least.  In fact I would mind if they were smaller except for the fact that it may make GRS more difficult in the future.

Ditto.

I may be wrong, but it sounds like the lack of spontaneous erections combined with sexual inactivity results in the shrinkage.  If you stretch it, pump it, or just "use" it, shrinkage may not be as much of an issue.

GRS is not in the cards for this girl.

The reason I'm wondering is because I'm not exactly the most "endowed" and am wondering what I may be...um....left with??

If I didn't hold out hope for GRS, I'd WANT shrinkage - MASSIVE shrinkage.

That said, more and more I'm hearing that the shrinkage of soft tissue is a myth. Particularly if you exercise it a bit (an erection is not necessary to do this) - think of it as inverse dilation without the pain.

What I want to know is - what kind of time frame on the evil twins shrinking?

I used some of my tax refund to get a round of AA's, and got my regular doc (actually a NP) to proscribe spiro for blood pressure (but the dosage there is too low) - the upshot being that I've got another 40 days (unless i find a job) until I have to dial back my dose by half (I've been hoarding the low does ones) and then I can go another 50 days before I have to revert to the much-too-low prescribed dose.

I should be able to keep the E supply up for most of a year.

(I am of course hoping events break in my favor so there is n interruption)

In any case - how long does one have to maintain an E/AA routine before the testes are notably and permanently smaller?

'Cause i might be on the clock.

They have shrivelled up but refuse to blow away! As for the other, it will stretch when required.
