Title: I'm in the process of coming out.
Post by: Moxie F. on May 27, 2011, 12:48:58 AM
I've been slowly telling more and more people about me as Moxie. I'm making sure to do it in a way that I personally tell everyone I care to know thinking that it would be rude if someone were to find out from someone other than me. Yesterday I felt the need to come out to my Rock Ensemble teacher at college. I ended up getting the warmest response yet. So much so actually that he called my back today and said he felt really good that I felt comfortable enough to tell him. I just hope ever other person down the line does half as well.

I hope everyone will be supportive when you tell your story, Moxie.

If there are some who are not, remember that it is their problem, not yours. Not everyone has been brought up in a loving, accepting environment.

One thing I was taught that can be helpful in such situations is: 'What other people say about me is none of my business.'

Your business is to grow in grace and love.  And to save money. Transition ain't cheap. LOL.   :D

Hugs
