Title: The AMAZING All-Star, All TG Band - Are you in?
Post by: Julie Marie on May 31, 2011, 11:35:16 PM
There's a lot of talent here.  Guitar, Piano, Brass, Vocals, Mixers, Managers, Producers, Promoters.  Do we have what it takes to produce a first class musical entertainment troupe?

Me thinks YES!

With all the electronic age advantages I'm thinking we could put together some pretty awesome music.  Obviously we'd need the right people but I'm betting all we need is right here.

Is there anyone here who could head this effort up?  Obviously it's the behind the scenes people who will make this happen.  Do we have what it takes?

I'm nominating Juliekins on piano.  I'll do vocals but with an *

It would really work only one way: musicians would have to make a recording, send it to those who know what good music is, then on to those who can put it all together.  Of course there would have to be certain pieces that each musician would play and record their part and then send it on.  We couldn't each decide to do a recording of just anything.

Seeing as this has had 50 views and only 1 reply (as of this writing), it looks like either the idea was poorly presented or the interest is pretty low.

Which is it?

It's a nice idea Julie. Sadly, inspite of my dreams when I was younger, of having enormous numbers of adoring fans lusting after my every move, I eventually came to the conclusion that I have the musical ability of a fresh lettice.

Julie,
I saw it and thought it was a great idea. I didn't answer because I am not transgender and couldn't play or sing if I was. I didn't feel a post would be welcome.
If I was transgender and could play or sing I would gladly join.
Terrific idea though.

How great would that be.  I used to play drums professionally back in the late 70's.  Had a 12 piece set of ludwigs.  Most fun of my life.  Have'nt played for years, and, that would be awesome!

Bass guitar and lap steel here.  The internet lets people on opposit sides of the world put CD's together, so could be interesting.
