A new study demonstrates the difficulty of studies that take up sexual communication those commonly referred to as transgender by many researchers.
The findings provide academic validation of field workers who have reported the complications when talking about safer sex with individuals in the transgender community. A paper describing the study is published in the Journal of Communication.
