I'm currently getting my needles and syringes from CVS. I buy them in sets of 10 in the same way my prescription is written. I've been considering switching so I can get 1mL syringes instead of the 3mL, and 23g instead of 22 (with additional 18 g needles) with a new prescription but it seems as if my current prescription is on the expensive side already.
So, how much do you pay per needle with syringe, and what size?
My syringes come with needles attached without an option for additional needles for about $1.20 per needle/syringe set up.
Nygeel a friend showed me a "pet" site. I spend about a quarter for a wrapped clean needle. Used needle is a great turkey baster. I buy 100 excellent needles for $25.
I use one needle a week for an E injection. I find injections superior to pills but also take pills.

Hey Nygeel. I got started with 23 gauge and when I got new ones I had a heck of a time finding 23 so I went with 25 but hopefully someone will have it for you. Walmart I seem to recall said it would be about $12 for 100 without insurance so maybe try them?
Btw I also use CVS and get mine with needles attached for $0.25 per one without insurance. Wonder why they are charging so much for you
I think mine are 23g and I pay 50 cents per needle/syringe package. But I have a compounding pharmacy relatively close by.
My needles are 22g 1.5 inches, and syringes are 3mL. Weird that it's 50 cents for other people...unless it's a different length?
I get 21G, 1inch, 3mL syringe/needle sets also for $0.25 a piece at Smith's(a Kroger brand) pharmacy with no insurance. I've never paid more then $0.25 for a syringe/needle set. And I've used different sizes in the past.
I'm just realizing that my script for 6 needles/syringes is $11.99, and my script for 10 needles/syringes is $11.99...something isn't right.

Whoa. Maybe they made a mistake. Then again, the CVS in my area was quoting me a huge price for testosterone...I don't recall exactly, but I think it was nearly $200 for a 10-mL vial.
Back when I was paying separately for my needles, I got them at Costco. It was about six bucks for maybe twenty needles. Strohecker's includes them as part of the package. I'm not sure how much my new pharmacy charges because I have so many extra needles that I told them not to bother.

My 10mL vial was $120 or so. I can't get strohecker's, but I'm going to try to call around. Unfortunately it's mostly CVSs around here.
Definitely call around. My new pharmacy is a MOMS pharmacy...the T is cheap because a lot of PWAs use it. I suspect that the needles are inexpensive as well. Is there a MOMS in your area? They have a couple of locations in New York, but they could be quite far away from you.

It turns out $11.99 is the least they charge for anything at the CVS pharmacy. My needles and syringes would've cost around $4 or $5 for 10.

Too bad Stroheckers doesn't work for you....I've been paying a little under $60 for over 5 years now for the entire package: 10mL rx, various sized syringes and needles and alcohol pads - and that's without using my insurance.

No prescription is necessary, and they have a huge selection at good prices if you buy in large quantities (around 100 needles).
I used to use 3mL syringes, but recently switched to 1mL. I like the 1mL better; I think I am more accurate with my dose using these. To go with the 1mL syringe (BD brand, with tuberculin slip tip), I get BD Precision Glide 1.5" 18G for drawing needles and BD Precision Glide 1" 25G for injection needles. These needles are the same ones that were compatible with the BD 3mL Luer-Lok syringes I used to use, so it was easy to switch.

BD 23G 1.5" needle: I looked, but they don't have 23G in the 1.5" length. How about 25G 1.5"? I find that the 25G doesn't take excessively long to inject with, and it is a bit nicer to stick in than the larger gauges.
BD 25G 1.5" needle: BD305127 @ $9.55/100
For one syringe and two needles, that's about $0.35 per injection, not including shipping costs (don't remember what those were, but it wasn't too excessive).
Nygeel....correct me if I am wrong, but I believe in another post I responded to it was mentioned that you are in NY. Do you have a Wegmans by you? Try them.

I cannot buy online and ship. I also need to use a prescription to get needles and syringes. There is a MOMS in my area (it's about a 20-30 minute drive) which I will call and try to get more info.
There is no Wegmans near me (well, closest one is 1 hour 40 minutes without traffic and around $20 in tolls).
Do you not have a Costco near you?

I don't buy my syringes/needles there because they charge far too much and can't seem to understand why I need two different sized needles, regardless of what my prescription says.
Last year, I went to Wal-Mart to fill my T/needles/syringes, and while the T there costs $120 (I get mine at Costco for under $60), I was able to get a box of 200 3ml syringes with detachable 25g needles for $12. I haven't had to buy needles or syringes since, and despite my prescription having been for only 30 syringes/needles, the pharmacist at Wal-Mart made the adjustment for me so I could save some dough (the 30-count would have been $15, instead of 200 for $12).

Costco is very good with filling prescriptions but you do need to be a member. I think basic membership is $50 per year. Med prices are competitive.
Pharmacist is excellent at my location and she answers my many questions to my satisfaction. Never checked on needles at Costco.
Some of my friends use WalMart for meds and are pleased.
Actually, unless your Costco is different from the ones in my area, you don't need to be a member to use the pharmacy.
I had some problems with a Costco pharmacist on my first refill two years ago, so I switched to Strohecker's and now MOMS. But the prices were good, and the needles were cheap. I've thought about just getting my needles there when I start to run out again--I will be in the same mall occasionally anyway.
Where I love, the Minnesota Transgender Health Coalition http://www.mntranshealth.org/ (http://www.mntranshealth.org/) has a needle exchange program. You might do some searching to see if there is anything similar in your area.
I've never had a Costco membership, and I've been able to use the pharmacy at their stores in Colorado and California (haven't tried anywhere else).
