NOTE: This is part two of Steven LeMay's epic sitdown with Heklina, the San Francisco drag legend. Heklina started the drag show ->-bleeped-<-shack in 1996, and recently celebrated her 35th birthday. Read part one here.

Last time, they dished about ->-bleeped-<-shack's history, Heklina's first forays into drag, and the difficulties a drag queen faces; landing a gay male boyfriend. This time, the oral history gets oral-er.

Lemay: Do you remember the first time someone hit on you in drag as Heklina?

Heklina: It happened a lot at ->-bleeped-<-shack, and I wasn't really into it for a while. But then I got into it, and it was a little bit of a turn-on.

I was like, there's straight, there's bisexual, there's gay, and then doing ->-bleeped-<-shack I noticed that it was more fluid.

True that.
