Title: Greetings from St. Louis!
Post by: Raya on June 22, 2011, 09:06:48 PM
I've been lurking for forever, but I figure I should actually come out and say hello for once!  :P

A little bit about me. I'm thirty-ish and while they put an M on my birth certificate, I never really cottoned to it. I've spent my entire life drifting around aimlessly in the middle of nowhere. At times, I'd pretty much given up hope of ever getting out. Happily for me, preparation met opportunity and I finally got my first "real job" and a ticket out of that wasteland. I've finally moved out to "the big city", where I finally feel free to go for what makes me happy.

That's what brings me here. I've had a lot of eye-opening experiences these past few years. They've made me realize two things: I'm not "just a crossdresser"; and if I'm ever to be truly happy, I have to follow this road, wherever it may lead me.

Right now, I'm mainly trying to figure out just what it is I do want out of life and try to find any resources I can on queer life in St. Louis. Hopefully, I can get some help with both here.

This site has so much information. The people here are so friendly. I only hope I can return the favor.

Hi Raya, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 7400 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister. :icon_hug:
