Title: Skirt dilemma!
Post by: Felly on June 25, 2011, 09:27:32 AM
Having been in jeans for most of my life, I thought I'd try out skirts at least once or twice. But the question is which kind? The ones I've been checking out are pretty short and from I can tell that's a big nono for my thighs/butt. Anyhow, these are the ones I've had on my mind so far:

or

These are the only 2 styles I can pretty much bare to even use as I find pencil skirts to be a bit to restrictive for my needs. I'm just gonna use these or any other as casual wear, nothing fancy such as work or for parties/events. Anyways, I would appreciate some input here!

The shorter one does nothing for me, but either way I can't tell on the model, I would have to see them on you.

Those are both very cute, but as Lisbeth said it's hard to say what would look best on you if we're seeing the skirt on a model. I have skirts myself of similar styles, however, and I would wear either depending on where I was going and my general mood. Go to a store and just try some on. Look in the mirror in the changing room, and you will be able to really see what flatters you most.

Yeah, it is impossible to say without seeing it on you, but I like the longer one better, then again I generally like maxi length, and an A-line designs the most. And yeah, most pencil skirts are kinda restrictive, However I still like how they look, even if wearing them can be a pain.
