I was all for keeping her but then she used the word WOOT.

Suddenly images from my past flashed back to my mind.  Days spent in front on the computer, playing Quake and Unreal Tournament online.  As the kiddies got faster connections, mine stayed the same.  I could barely afford dial up as it was, let alone the new cable modems or DSL.  So I would try and struggle to play and have a good time and yet time and time again I would die.  Each time that I died, there would appear:

WOOT.

It is too painful to think of for any longer, I must go and leave this horrible word and memories behind.

Oh tut. It was fun (heh) running into the wall and having the rocket you fired at the guy (while you were at the other end of the hall) hit you in the back...

 :icon_tears:

Go ahead, laugh at my pain.  Typical.

:P

I have been told that my two close friends keep me around for the entertainment value.  Glad that I could put a smile on everyone's face.  Funny thing was that I actually did halfway decent until UT changed the sniper rifle.  And with Quake II I could load up on the rockets and knew where to hide (not near spawn points!) during most of the CTF games.  Deathmatch without broadband, forget it.
