Ummmm.... I do have a question about the accuracy of the charts actualy.... according to what we have up I should be wearing between a size 7 and 10 in just about everything... but in reality I wear between a 3 and 5 for most things..... and thats with the 5 being comfortable the 3's being painted on.....

This is one area that needs to be addressed as I too have my doubts especially with the bra sizes. I'll have to look at it when I get a chance...
UNLESS I GET A VOLUNTEER TO HELP ME... HINT... HINT... so if there is anyone out there who would like to volunteer for Wiki Staff please email me and we'll talk - I have lots to do :)
Steph
/me volunteers her over active uber hyper sis to do doubble duty and help out heheheheheheh >:D
Just kidding LoL :angel:
LynnER, I find those charts completely useless. In a community I am involved with, women were curious about how much clothing sizes vary so a bunch of them posted their sizes and their measurements. People with the same measurements can have a degree that goes up to 6 sizes between the two! That chart tends to suggest that you will wear a higher size than what most people would actually wear. Women's bodies tend to be curvier then men which accounts for this big difference in sizing when one tries to rely on measurements alone. Your best bet is to just try everything on before you buy it. With the charts not working for everyone and vanity sizing, the majority of women will only fit into a small percentage of clothing that is labeled as "their size."
/me knows this... which is why she knows she's between a 3 and 5 in most items of clotheing and dosnt order online unless its something like a band tee she wants *shrugs*
Oh, and the bra thing. Bra makers vary just as much as clothing makers do. You can wear one size in one brand and a completely different size in another brand. To make things more confusing, some styles will fit better than other styles. You can use the old "measure the band +5..." to get a general idea for your size, but it's best to get professionally fitted and even then still try on your bras before buying.
I sent you an email.
Just a note. The charts provided are those provided for use by natal females and of course one would need to try clothing of any type on before guying.
They will be updated as soon as I can get to it.

I have one answer for the size table...
I am in the US, I order shoes online. If I order shoes from the UK I have to order one size smaller.
I did a comparison on the chart and several major sellers. I selected the bottom two sizes in the women's section. As you can see, there is quite a difference based on whoever is selling the clothes.
Victoria's Secret
XS/0 = 31.5 / 23.5 / 34
XS/2 = 32.5 / 24.5 / 35
GAP
XS/0 = 32 / 23.25 / 33.25
XS/1 = 32 / 24 / 34
XS/2 = 33 / 25 / 35
Target
XS/0 = 32.5 / 25.5 / 35
XS/2 = 33.4 / 26.5 / 36
Landsend
XS/2 = 33 / 26-27 / 36
XS/4 = 34 / 27-28 / 37
Nordstrom's
XS = 32.5 / 25 / 35
S = 33.5 / 26/ 36
JCPenny's
XS/0 = 31.5-32 / 23.5-24 / 34-34.5
XS/0 = 23.5-33 / 24.5-25 / 35-35.5
Kohls
XS/4 = 33.5 / 25.5 / 36
S/6 = 34.5 / 26.5 /37
The chart
2 = 30.5-31 / 22.5-23 / 33-33.5
4 = 31.5 / 23.5-24 / 34-34.5
Going by size measures is useless I'm 34-29-37 but store to store I'm anything in the range of medium-small 10-14 (UK), it really is just a case of trying things on a ton.
Often the sizing chart will get you close and then as with everything else it definitely is a matter of trying on the items.
Just for general information, the chart presented will be updated in due course and supplemented with links to the myriad of sizing charts produced by various retailers.
Also there will be links to conversion charts posted that members can use when purchasing cloths from different countries.
The bottom line is try before you buy and always "buyer beware"
Steph
altair is correct about sizing here in the uk it depends which shop you go into for instance if you buy from marks and specers and most women in the uk buy there undies from there and 90 per cent of tvs buy there undies there the sizes are generous but if you go into say gap or tesco you will find there dresses and coats are to small for you this on a size 16 so every shop is different and is a minefield
