Title: Which story for Pridefest Service at Church?
Post by: GinaDouglas on July 06, 2011, 01:07:51 PM
I tell the Story For All Ages about once a month at the morning service of my Unitarian Universalist Church in Colorado Springs.  The church recently started a Sunday evening service.  Sunday after next is Pridefest.  After the morning service, there is a large contingent of churchgoers, straight and gay, who march in the Parade.  I have been asked to tell a story about coming-out for the evening service.  I anticipate that the congregation at this service will have some people from the morning service who like my stories, the regular evening-service people, and people from Pridefest who decide to come to the service.  There will be three other people telling coming-out stories, I don't know who they are or what their story will be about.  I am sure my story will be last, because I am a very powerful storyteller and the pastor would know not to make another performer follow me.

I posted the two stories on my blog: https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/board,330.0.html (https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/board,330.0.html)

Which one do you think I should tell?
