I really like sleeveless shirts but the issue is that I can never find one that is a large or extra large without the arm holes being huge! Well, my binder shows through those. I'm guessing someone else has had this issue so I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions? Maybe a brand that they've found to have smaller arm holes? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks guys :)
Find a regular tee-shirt that you like and fits you well.
Than cut off the sleeves with scissors where they connect to the shirt. I doubt your binder would show.
I think it's Jerzees that makes the muscle tees I wear... they have one style where the arm holes are huge, but another where the arms have a border like the collar does. Those stay pretty close to your skin, and shouldn't expose your binder. I've bought them at Wal-Mart for about $4.
I second making your own. you can get really really cheap tshirts (like $2) and cut the sleeves off at the seam or make some really cool ones out of graphic ts

If you just let the sitches out it will fray less.
I get Jersey as well & something at Kohls
there's actually a fruit of the loom tank top which has smaller armholes than most. i can't quite remember which model it was, but a couple of guys complained about how the armholes seemed small for them on amazon, so you might find it that way
I've had the same exact issue the past couple of summers. I bought a gildan brand tank top and the arm holes are relatively small compared to others I've tried, but my binder still shows slightly so I only feel confident enough to wear a black one with a black binder...not too noticeable that way.
I tried cutting my own from a normal tshirt and I somehow screwed up and the arm holes ended up huge. I'm not very crafty.
Definitely going to go check out the jerzees brand when I get a chance.
I made one out of an old shirt. The holes were huge! I know it's not what you want to hear but women's tops are cut better in the pit.
wear a wife beater tank over the binder so that way the tank will show, not the binder
thats what i do when my binder straps show through my work clothes, wear a tank so that people will just think its the tank straps
Yeah... I should have checked the tag before I posted. Mine are actually Fruit of the Loom. I took a couple pics in my favorite one, so you can see how it fits. Sorry about the pit hair... was the only way I could illustrate. And yes, you can get them at Wal-Mart for $4.

No visible binder... and I wear the Underworks cotton concealer muscle T binders, which tend to hug pretty close around my arms.
Thanks for the suggestions everyone! I didn't expect nearly this many responses. I did try cutting the arms off of a Tshirt but it turned out awful. I don't have steady hand so the holes were uneven. I'll definitely be checking out the fruit of the loom ones when I get to walmart. Thanks for adding the pics Sebastien :) that sealed the deal on me looking for them because it looks awesome on you and fits really well around the pit area.
I haven't gotten around to wearing a tank yet because I'm so self conscious of my binder showing, but I bet you an A shirt (undershirt) will disguise it enough.

I wear this shirt all the time, fruit of the loom and it's just called a muscle shirt. Small armholes, and besides that the black one gives me a very satisfying V-shape, with big, wide shoulders. Got it at Walmart.
I'm going to second this. I got two muscle shirts at walmart and the arm holes seem to be smaller than others that I've seen.
I hate the neckline being so tight on them.
Sports shops sell a lot of stuff w/o sleeves, and also a lot of differently cut stuff.
you guys are gonna wear em under a shirt right? Cuz....well at least up where I live, guys only wear sleeveless shirts when they are at the gym or exercising.
I wouldnt wear it out other than doing those things. They aren't very attractive. I work in the men's department of a pretty big and popular department store in the mall...we don't sell sleeveless shirts in any area of mens but the athletic dept....sooo please only wear em when working out :P
wal mart is a great place to get sleeveless shirts, there should be ones on the racks that you can look at and judge. also kohls is a great place to go looking for cheap shirts and such to cut the sleeves off.
But cowboys love that sleeveless thing,

ya but cowboys are not the forefront (or considered average) of modern fashion either :P
At least not in the northeast!
Google Image "sleeveless shirts"
You'll either get VERY BUFFED (and SEXY) men at the gym or country western singers. :D
Well tie my face to a pig and roll me in the mud! Why didn't ya'll just say you're a damn yankee?

But seriously guys. Unless you are gonna play some country music or work out in the gym, dont go out in a sleeveless shirt. It's just not sexy :(
Trust me. Coming from a girl who dressed as a guy for 30 some years and someone who absolutely think men are the hottest thing that ever popped on the earth...dont wear it to walk in the mall or to go out to eat in. Keep it in the house, the gym, or the country bar karaoke night :D

It must be an eastern thing. I've spent the past five years between Colorado, Nevada, and California, and the votes are in: muscle tees are the thing when it's hot in the west. If a guy doesn't look good in one, he doesn't look good in one. It is not, however, the shirt that makes the impression; rather, it is the man who knows what looks good on him.
Same as Sebastian I see a lot of guys around where I live wearing them and A-shirts all the time. I can't do the A-shirt thing because I can't find one that is not too thin sadly. Did a cut up Tshirt today and managed to make it work decently but it is cut odd so my OCD went nuts feeling it longer on one side and shorter on the other. My air conditioner stopped working today so I didn't much care what anyone thought it was too hot to care! :D On a more serious not though haven't gotten to walmart yet but I'll post what I go with if I find that those ones work for me. Thanks again everyone :)
