Hello all
Well, I've been fighting it all my life but doesn't the damn thing usually just get you in the end. Although I have now reached the grand age of 60, you would not guess it with the full head of long flowing brown locks and working with kids who all think I act about 12. I don't get much time to play cos of working at school, working at family (which includes a wife and 2 kids), and trying to get a local trans support group going, but I am getting by after starting the scariest bit of the final destination (no pun) about 9 months ago. That's it for now. Take care.
Debbie :)
p.s. I love Maths so keep the maths questions coming at the end of the post (not).

Not entirely - greetings from the other side of the Pennines :icon_wave: (I'm not from Yorkshire originally, just moved here) As for age - 31 going on 15 ;)

Oh great
Thanks Sam. I'm not from here either.....flew north from down south a long time ago.
I've got some friends on your side of the pennies too, and two of those are FtM.
Anyway, take care and chat soon.
Debbie
Ooh, you're a Southerner too? Small world :) Whereabouts? I came up from Brighton with my folks - made a stop at Lincolnshire *shudder* before I left them there a few years ago to come up here.

Thanks Padma (wondering where that name comes from)
It's short for something long and Buddhist (and conveniently gender-neutral) :).

You may know of better places in Lincs, but I got stuck with the backward-thinking, generally ignorant folk who stared at me when I was female and kissing a girl - let alone trying to transition there :S Thankfully I got to Leeds before that happened ;P
And in the same spirit of Padma the ninja - *cough* Gainsborough *cough*
I grew up in *cough* Sleaford *cough*. I quite understand. The countryside's nice though...
Sure, and Lincoln itself is fun - when I was at college in Newark, I used to spend merry hours in Lincoln watching the magical feat of secretaries sauntering up the cobbled hills in high heels. Amazing. Probably involves hidden gyros or something.
