Hey folks , I looked and couldn't find out where I can advertise for a certain Coffee cup . It was shown on Yesterdays N B C evening news July 11 2011 . As you in the Los Angles metro area , the famous 405 Freeway is set to be shut down for repairs . I want a coffee cup that says , "I survived the 405 " . "I survived the 405 coffee cup", I just did a yahoo search for those words and found a couple places selling that cup.
They are calling it Carmageddonn (really GIS it) - I love LA for stuff like that. I'm almost expecting a movie, so I'm glad they have coffee cups and t-shirts too I bet. This is HUGE - at least potentially. LA is a real smart place - and in the past when stuff like this was set to happen, nothing happened because everyone stayed home. The LA Olympics were like that, best Olympics ever really. The freeways were deserted. No one went anywhere. Which is what they are hopping for. They call it The Great 405 in LA and it's pretty much THE busiest freeway in the world. At freeway speed, almost bumper to bumper. When they finish this it's going to be 12 lanes, plus emergency lanes and exit/on ramp lanes. That's more than most people outside of LA can even imagine is 6 lanes in each direction, packed, all the fricking time, (I've been on it at 2 AM and it's like rush hour) and moving. It's going to be interesting to see what happens. I wouldn't be surprised to see nothing major happen because everyone will stay home. It just might be the mother of all traffic jams too. They don't know either.

Would ya'all beleive someone on one of the antique car forums I belong to and gave me a place where I was able to order a coffee mug ? Yes , I'm the owner or will be shortly of a I survived the 405 Coffee mug. Thiis will go great in the beverage holder in my 53 Ford Panel delivery. Oh yeah, it's already outlasted yer import too !!!!!!!! ;D ellen
