Yep I was called a "Young Lady" today at work. Just to clarify. I was in a t shirt with a reflector vest and blue work pants. My hair is in a ponytail. While at work I practice on my voice when I can. Anyway, I was helping a customer who appeared to be in his sixties with his stuff he was dropping off (recycle center) and then he said "Thank you young lady". I must have look at least in my mid forties. Actually I am pushinhg 60 myself. I was on CLOUD NINE. I try to come across as female when non of my coworkers are helping me. Otherwise I must appear adrogenous to a lot of people based on the looks I get from the customers. They seem confused as to my being male or female. I mostly get "sirred" .
Also he said that loudly and the female coworker heard him. So I got a little teasing from her about the "young" part.
I wish it could happen more often. In time it will.
You must look simply amazing i think because thats a beautiful compliment and i hope you receive it more often because words that makes us smile are worth being heard more and more. :D :D :D :D
Yes those words are great to hear. At work I am androgenouos as we wear uniforms. Usually I wear a shirt with my male name on it. But occassionally will say thank you ladies. I just love to hear that.
Thats great i sadly find comfort when i am called a b**** simply because where i am boys cant be b*****y only jerks haha not the same but more or less same concept , i think we just love to know we do stuff the way we should be.
Yesterday was one of THOSE days, that had started so-so. Kind of a flat-hair day, um.
Going to my electrolysis app. I was greeted: "You look great!", which sure put a smile on my face. The girl got a nice big hug, plus my electrolysist um.
Ok, I had dressed in tights, faint silver on black leopard print, wearing a "waterfall" style top over it, short in front (pussy pelmet like). Followed by another "waterfall" style charcoal cardigan, a black shiny wool knitted scarf, and fire-engine red suede booties :-)
Hair just clipped back and D&G sunglasses used as an Alice Band. Black leather shoulder hand-bag.
In any case, later on going to the Post Office I get approached by a female customer: "Aren't you the LADY (oh, oh :-) I always see walking your dog... ?:-).
Next the post Office attendant, they're usually grumpy, tells me I must only pay next month (my car license), else I forfeit this current month --- and with the sweetest of smiles, uh, now how nice it that.
Going to the shops (supermarket) I most always get a friendly reception and "Have a lovely day" --- and on coming out going to my car, an elderly couple asks me (I had two full bags in my hands) if they can HELP me?! Hello!?
By now I am on cloud nine forgetting for a while all my usual $$$ related unpleasant thoughts.
In all my living memory nothing like such EVER, EVER would have happened to me in boy-guise.
A day like that is worth all the tears and unpleasantness of transition, I just wanted to hug the world!! :-)

Society does seem to be nicer to who were really are then your disguises :D :D cant wait ! ;) ;)
