As a lot of you probably have, I've been playing video games since I was a kid!
There are so many great games out there, it's hard not to want to play them all!
Some games I love because of the actual gamely and others I like because of the story and visual style. My collection is going to keep growing...
But here are some games that have become a part of my permanent collection:
-Tomb Raider, all the games in the series (Action Adventure, I want to look like her and Angelina Jolie, too, LOL)
-Uncharted (Drake is HOT. I can't wait for the third game to come out in 3D!)
-Mass Effect (Deep and Engrossing Story. I could not put this game down when I started playing it!!)
-Portal (The Cake is a Lie! And the game play will blow your mind!)
-Half life (The physics engine on that game are amazing! It's a very realistic!)
-Gears of War (Nitty gritty/tough and rough guys, mmmm, they look good!)
-Halo (Of course:)
-Kinectimals and Dance Central (For the Kinect 360. These games will provide you with plenty of exercise and wear your out!)
-Flower, Flow (And a lot of other PS3 exclusives)
-FFX &FFXIII (Stunning visuals and amazing stories, all classic and best sellers.)
-Oddworld series (Oldie but goodie)
-Rock Band!!! (I downloaded tons of songs! and I got good enough to play the drums in expert mode!)
-Star Wars KOTOR (Deep Story Lines)
I love my PS3 & Wii .... I like pretty much any game ... I tend to enjoy the adventure games the most
I've been searching for a game better than Perfect Dark for ever yet..... nothing, sure graphics have come along way but for gameplay, guns and atmosphere nothing holds a candle (that I've seen).
Same here, Robert:) Only I don't have the Wii:(
Muffin, I haven't played that game... But it sounds like the kind of game I like! I'll keep it in mind in case I see it :D

there is a steam remake apparently but I'm yet to check it out >_< a member here (aubreyrenee) hooked me up with steam and portal (still yet to get around to) but I really want to check it out once my schedule is freed up a little.. gaming can be such a time suck. :P
Counter strike 1.6!! , and IMPERIVM III
Presently: Valkyrie Chronicles 2 on my psp.
Want to spend more time gaming, have a few ps3 games I haven't even had the chance to play yet! This is my goal for the week, lol. ;D
I cant play much since many games make me ill,
I usnally play more relaxing games like sims, or flutter,
my favorite game, is Need for madness, I love it when im bored,
Fifa 11
Need For Speed
Sims 1, 2 and 3
Midnight Club
Wii Sports
Resident Evil
This video shows me playing Rock Band.
Doesn't my hair look fabulous!?!
Rock Band Drums with Cymbals Song Medley on Hard and Expert (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d681G9XvXcA#)[yt=425,350]_Nhy6_gjCpk[/yt]
Assassins Creed is fun, but it can be quite hard!
Pretty much all I play anymore is Rock Band 3 (on PS3), and occasionally a good RPG that comes out for the PC. The last of those I played was Dragon Age: Origins and its expansion. I'm toying with the idea of buying Dragon Age 2, but the reviews were mixed.
I played WoW in the past, somewhat hardcore, but quit over a year ago. It was definitely my coping mechanism for GID because I completely lost interest once I was on hormones a couple months. When I quit, I was in the furthest progressed alliance guild on my server and had "the Insane" title.
As for Rock Band, I play the drums on expert without cymbals - mostly cause I haven't seen any that met my standards for missing notes. I've gotten gold stars on every expert song up through difficulty 4 (with a couple exceptions), 3/4 of the difficulty 5 songs, and maybe 1/3 of the 5 devil songs.
I play a lot of Japanese role playing games (like Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest). I also really enjoy Zelda and Metal Gear Solid.
I don't like the new videogames (I don't know why)
I would have to say Final Fantasy 7... though I haven't had much of a chance to play a lot of games.
I currently play WoW but I would not even rank that as a game I hold above others. It's just something to do.
Sorry but this is going to be quite a long list:
Guitar Hero & Rock Band games (all of them)
Lost Planet 1 & 2
Devil May Cry 1,3 & 4 (Dante is so damn hot)
Command & Conquer: Kanes wrath
Ace Combat 6 (I'm in the top 100 on the world leaderboards)
IL2 Sturmovik (I love flying a Spitfire whilst listening to Elgar)
GTA (all of them from PS1, PS2, PSP, DS & 360)
Uncharted 1 & 2
Armed & dangerous (nothing beats firing a great white shark at your enemies >:-))
There's lots of other games I love but these are the top of the list.
Now for my absolute favourite ever, Shadow of the Colossus on PS2, as I scaled the first colossus my heart was pounding, I started plunging my sword into the giants head & at the final strike the mighty beast was toppled & the music changed from dramatic to melancholy & as the beast crumpled in slow motion I experienced an emotion that no game before or since has evoked in me, guilt, that's right I felt guilty for killing this giant creature & my view of the game changed, I was no longer a hero but a terrible heartless villian who would sacrifice any life to return his love to him.
If you havn't played this gem then check it out in a few months when it gets re-released on PS3

Awesome. I just love Rockstar Games :D
Mass Effect series and Halo series. I also love strategy games but can rarely find foljs to play with.
I've just devoted my life to playing FROM DUST on XBLA.
It's a god sim where you control the elements of water, lava & earth in a battle for survival against the Earth beneath your feet & the rising tides of the seas around your islands.
I keep going back to previous levels just to mess around, if i'm in a kind mood then I shape the Earth to create an Eden but if i'm in a mood for being bad >:-) i'll build a dam by a village & flood the villagers out to sea with it or redirect a lava flow over their peacefull homes :icon_flamed:

Any big open world RPGs. Am impatiently waiting for Risen 2 and Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, even though I thought Oblivion was rubbish.

vanilla oblivion was indeed rubbish. but thats what mods are for.
Ah, where do I begin...The Elder Scrolls series, Fallout 3 and New Vegas, Borderlands, Fable, most of the Final Fantasy series, Xenogears, Wild Arms, Super Mario Bros., the Legend of Zelda series, Spyro (the originals, anyway), Sonic the Hedgehog, the Grand Theft Auto series, Red Dead Redemption, Soul Calibur, Chibi-Robo, Viewtiful Joe, Okami, Dragon Age, the Sims, Legend of Dragoon, Legend of Legaia, Lunar, Mega Man, Saints Row 2, Diablo II, Guitar Hero and Rock Band, the Star Fox series, Half-Life, Portal, Team Fortress 2, Chocobo's Dungeon, Rogue Galaxy, Dark Cloud, Fire Emblem, Super Smash Bros., Kirby, Metroid, and Pokemon. I feel like I'm still missing a few things, but you should get the gist. And yes, I consider every game and game series listed there to be my favorites.
I've been a gamer since I was two, and I'll be a gamer for the rest of my life :D.
I have a pretty wide range :3
- Tetris
-Professor Layton series
-Pokemon series ( I am LOVING Black right now)
-Portal and Portal 2 (recently beat portal 2, it was great!)
-I'm terrible at it but I enjoy GTA 4
-Minecraft, it's an addiction
-Dance Dance Revolution series
-Pikmin
-Super Mario Galaxy was far too fun
-Super Smash bros. Melee and Brawl
- The first Digimon game, I still love it, not gonna lie
I tend to like some of the oldiest and crappiest games. One of my favourites is The Biz, which is a text-based music industry simulation for the ZX Spectrum. It's pretty much impossible to do well in, which just makes me keep trying harder. I also like a lot of old RPGs like older Final Fantasy games, Chrono Trigger, etc.
Newer games... I don't own any consoles or a TV or even a computer that can play them (seriously this computer can't even handle the original The Sims, lol) so I mostly play them at other people's houses. That means I don't really have a chance to get into more serious games properly, so the ones I play and enjoy are usually either beat-em-ups or racing games or other games involving a lot of driving/skating/whatever around like GTA or especially the Tony Hawk games. I really like designing the ugliest or most ridiculous skater possible, haha. Same with racing games like Need for Speed... I had a friend tell me I had to stop using a particular car when we were racing against each other because it was too hideous and gaudy and distracted him. ;D

Favourite video game series:
- Call of Duty!
- Mass Effect
- Assassin's Creed
And that's about it. I've played other games on my increasingly-obsolete xbox, but once I find a game I like, I stick to it. Mass Effect and Assassin's Creed are great escapism. But Call of Duty is pure addiction. Once MW3 comes out, that's me sorted until March. Hope I remember to eat.
Are you going to get Mass Effect 3 and Assassins Creed: revelations?

Been waiting on ME3 for months - definitely. I wasn't planning on getting Revelations, but then I saw the trailer in the cinema. Looks amazing.
I just found this game about a week ago called Cave Story, and I have to say I'm hooked. If you're a fan of Metroid or Castlevania, you should give it a try. It needs an English patch, but it's freeware so it's all good!
