Title: Sleeping in a packer.
Post by: Darrin Scott on July 14, 2011, 07:31:11 PM
Can you or is it not good to do that?

You can but they get pretty icky. Be sure to clean it when you wake up.

Without making a joke...

I don't see any reason why it could be bad.  I mean, if you move around a lot in your sleep, the packer could shift and end up somewhere else (in the sheets, on the floor, etc).  So that might damage your packer in some way, I suppose.  But, in general, there shouldn't be a problem.

I've been sleeping with mine regularly for about 6 months, and it seems fine.  I just wash it with the rest of me when I shower in the morning.

Ditto for the last 3 years with no problems at all.

Not really.
I sleep and shower with my packer. It's never really come off, since I'm good at tightening it on my homemade harness. I actually don't remember the last time I took it off. That... might be bad. XD

As long as you clean it, not really an issue. Can't really see what harm it'd do.
Although when I used a safety pin to keep it in place, I was always scared it'd unhook and stab me. Never did.

It makes it easier to sleep for me. It does not get sweaty or nasty at all (atleast not for me) but at least it is detachable so I can clean it easy in the morning.

I always wear mine in bed too, feel lost without it. I use a pair of trunks that have a nice little pocket in the front that it slots into nicely, so it holds it well and no mess.

Hm, at least you will not get thrush under the foreskin. How nice.

Yet, why would you not get thrush on your labia (or junk what ever...) It will create a perfect environment for thrush in my estimate.

Any thought about that?

great to wakeup and feel something down there, i guess if it was hard enough you could say you have a morning hard on.

If you've got it in a sort of pocket, so it's not riding up against the skin, it should be reasonably unlikely to get too icky/sweaty/thrushy, so I don't see why not.

It's already the perfect environment for thrush. If you are going to get it, you are going to get it. I would simply recommend not sleeping with one if you are on antibiotics.

Yeah I never had any sort of infection and I sleep with my packer every night.

It is glued to me so it's not practical to remove.  The glue is to expensive to reapply each morning.

Depends a bit on your harness I suppose.

And your packer will show wear a lot sooner (same with sleeping of course) but a lot of guys shower with it as well.
