Hello everyone
I am 20 yrs old, 5'10 and overweight (I hread that more weight = more Estrogen so I bulked up before teen >_> Idk if it helped any). Sorry in advaced for making my first post just a list of questions and for not knowing where to post this (I looked through the fourm but didn't see quite the right place to put this) :[ Umm... so, yeah. I'll number the questions for easy response.
1) Is there a way to get an HRT permit online? There aren't any psychologists near me and I have no money to travel.
2) Is there a way to prevent the word "transexual" from going on my medical record (I'm afraid of discrimination \: ) or at least prevent it from every doctor beening able to read it? (I live in Canada... Idk if that matters or not).
3) How soon can I get ffs after starting hormones?
4) Will everyone pass after ffs (and maybe be pretty?) or will some still not be able to?
5) Is there like ffs for the body? For example: widen hips, reduce shoulders, etc....
6) Is there a voice trianer online? All I can find are CD's and they aren't helping me at all :[ (I don't mind paying for it, beats the heck out of cutting my tongue off).
7) Will I get better results from HRT if I'm overweight or should I drop the weight?
8 ) Is it true that mtf's don't "feel" the same... down there as a bodied woman?
9) Is it true that no matter what a mtf will never pass 100% of the time?
10) what effects do testostrone have on the body after 18?
Thank you any and all resposes!!!

1. Probably not.. But any GP should be able to give care, isn't there anyone nearby who can help?
2. Just ask and they should do that for you.
3. You're supposed to waited at least two years I think so you can tell what you actually need done. Plenty of people don't even need it!
4. Nobody passes 100% :( but not many people can't pass most of the time after a successful transition.
5. You can't reduce the size of your shoulders - except for a little bit of muscle shrinkage. I've heard of corset training for the waist but that's weird in my opinion.. I bet it hurts.
6. I think you can get voice training over the phone? I don't know about online, not like you mean.
7. HRT will only feminize new fat deposits.. Losing extra weight is never a bad idea I think.
8. Well certainly if they haven't had an operation. :p and yes of course it's different, but if it's well-done I can come close!
9. Yes, but 99% is still quite a bit.
10. Umm the same as before 18? Lol..

http://www.docbushong.com/ <--- He offers online services.
2) Is there a way to prevent the word "transexual" from going on my medical record (I'm afraid of discrimination \: ) or at least prevent it from every doctor beening able to read it? (I live in Canada... Idk if that matters or not).
Don't know. I don't know that it even goes into your medical record.
3) How soon can I get ffs after starting hormones?
Again, I don't know.
4) Will everyone pass after ffs (and maybe be pretty?) or will some still not be able to?
That's the intention of FFS. I've seen a lot of people get FFS who don't need it though.
5) Is there like ffs for the body? For example: widen hips, reduce shoulders, etc....
Yes, hormones. HRT will do all of that.
6) Is there a voice trianer online? All I can find are CD's and they aren't helping me at all :[ (I don't mind paying for it, beats the heck out of cutting my tongue off).
Check out this Forum Post (https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,101807.msg753976.html#msg753976), hopefully it will help.
7) Will I get better results from HRT if I'm overweight or should I drop the weight?
I've found that being a little bit heavier and not super skinny gives better results. Having that extra fat to move around does a lot for you.
8 ) Is it true that mtf's don't "feel" the same... down there as a bodied woman?
I've heard that they have amazing sensation after their surgery. If that's what you're referring to.
9) Is it true that no matter what a mtf will never pass 100% of the time?
No.
10) what effects do testostrone have on the body after 18?
Compare a 30 year old man, and a 30 year old woman. Facial hair, bone structure, muscles, hair loss, body hair growth. etc.
1. most psychologists will want to see you in person, at least for the 1st visit.
2. "transsexual" wont be in your medical records but "gender identity disorder/gender dysphoria" will be
3. let the hormones do their job before deciding on FFS
4. dont know, i pass rather easily without having FFS
7. yes, being about 10-15 lbs overweight will permit E to do it's work.
8. I'll let ya know real real soon
10. testosterone continues to deepen the voice, add to bone/muscle growth etc. as you may know, males hit puberty later and continue to grow later
C: Thank you all for the answers! They really give some hope that I'm not sunk. and thanks Samantharz for the links!! C:
