Well, I received my third hate mail courtesy of my blog (this person called themselves a fundamentalist christian, I doubt it, as though there were such a thing ::)) while I was watching Harry Potter with my daughter today. Needless to say, this ruined the movie for me, and dampened my spirits, thereby messing up my daughter's good time by extension.
I tore down the blog, I changed my e-mail address, and I have sent the e-mail, complete with the person's e-mail address, to my dear lawyer friend to see if we can rack up some kind of terror or mischief charge, and my oldest best friend who happens to be a notorious trouble maker :)
I have decided not to maintain a blog, and I will simply keep up my youtube account. I will not link up anything public to this site, and I do believe that this particular trouble maker was (or may still be) a member here. If this person tries to contact me here I will leave Susan's as well. I have the lives of three people to maintain, have made other serious mistakes that I am trying to deal with, and need no such distractions.
Moral of the story: being trans and being public with it is a serious pain. /sigh

Emma, Randi is absolutely right. These people's minds and worlds are so ridiculously small and self-centered, they simply cannot tolerate even the idea of anyone different from themselves. They compensate for this insecurity by spewing hate and criticism at others. Such hateful and insecure behavior is certainly not Christian behavior, no matter what they may think. Christ told us to love one another. That's not what these hypocrites do, and they're not Christians despite anything they claim.

I will not let them stop my transition, as it had always been a private matter anyway. The hardest part of this is me starting to lose my own christian feelings. (Yes, in spite of everything, I still believe). I will turn this over for a few more days.
Putting yourself out there is going to gain you some haters. It doesn't matter who you are, there's always someone out there who won't like you. Most of them are just full of hot air.. everyone's brave when attacking people over the internet.
I wouldn't worry about these mails so much.. Just delete and block the person and move on. No need to worry so much about it. Matter of fact, maybe put all your hate mail on your blog for everyone to see. Include the person's email address, so that your fans can show he or she some love. ;D
Anyone who is on the internet should know not to post personal info. As long as nobody has this, you're ok.
Just need to be smart. For instance it's safe enough to tell all you internet strangers that my name is Veronika and that I live in the Chicago area. Good luck finding me, you'll be old and grey before you get done knocking on doors. :) But I'm not giving you my street address, my license plate number, where I work, anything like that.
As long as nobody has any of this info, no worries. Tell that person to shove it and block them. If they say they know where you live, tell them that you will be waiting for them... with a gun. At least that's what I'd do.
I put up a new blog. The privacy settings are very tight (no one can even comment). Next: To tighten up security on my youtube account. All of this is for personal/ friend use anyway.

Well, in a way receiving hate mail is kind of validating :) It proves I'm doing something right. Not even once did this person refer to me with male pronouns, which was odd. I don't have the e-mail anymore, but here are the confusing parts:
This person said they were a "fundamental christian," and then I think they called me a "fundamental christian," then said something insane about trans revelations that I could not interpret. Apparently this person misinterpreted my post about spirituality and how faith provided no cure to what I then believed to be my "odd condition." They said they wish me peace, then called me selfish and hate filled. Of course, they mentioned spirituality and religion to be the cure. (All lies, veiled hate speech, and weirdness)
This person accused me of spreading many hateful attacks against people. (lie)
This person accused me of attacking them personally and acted as though we had spoken before, and this may be true, if they were one particular person I've had a bout with over the PM's here. I have taken a jab at this one person in total (for confusing the heck out of me, slandering me, and acting like a teenage child) but never regarding their beliefs, and not by name. This person has been tracked to the U.K. and I've never been to the U.K., but the previously mentioned poster did live there. They neglected to tell me who they were. (lies and misdirection)

I confessed that I was once in an evangelical church and thought that could at one time cure me. To think I haven't paid enough in time served, trauma, or masculinization for my ignorance is ridiculous.
The context of the mail Adrienne (thanks for letting everyone know it was you, by the way) sent me made it sound as though she was a fundamentalist christian, the message was unclear, it was harassment, and it was inspired by anger. I was content with not ever hearing from or about her again. Contact will not continue.

Emma I was in your shoes too. i was an evangelical fundamentalist pastor.
Do not let anyone try to trap you in your past. Those who do that...feel sorry for them because the only attacks they have against you is by attacking your past in which you are no longer part of.
Take hope in know if someone trolls you based on your past it means nothing
and seeing that the person who has been following you here and in your blogs gave you a negative rating MONTHS after the thread.

At the time of the thread's inceptoion I only had a vague idea that Adrienne did in fact send the mail. I started the thread as a general vent / caution to those who keep open transition blogs without the intent of starting anything. Four months go by until it's dug up and she out herself to start in on me again. My blogs were on different sites, and her persistent harassment forced me to move my blogs here.
Her smites mean less than nothing- I just want it all to end.

Why is this person not banned? 7 rep points and no neg rep? This person used to be Lexie, Lexia or something like that and several other names and has been banned before. Ddi this person change their name and reregister?
