After washing my binder, I have to air dry it, but I'm really impatient to put it back on. I know the underworks website says to not put it in the dryer, but I've heard some guys say they do.
What happens if you do put it in the dryer?
I'm pretty sure the heat stretches it out.
I have one binder that I put in the dryer and one that I air dry. I've been the one in the dryer for probably a year now, and nothing has happened to it. There is a loose thread here and there, but it works exactly how it did when I got it.
Basically when you dry it, put it on the lowest heat possible. Some dryers even have just air blow on it instead of heat. Use that setting if you can.
Actually, I prefer putting mine in the dryer. I think that the fibers wear down quicker, but it makes it a bit tighter. I've lost some weight since getting mine, so I can't say if it has made it looser over time. It seems fine, though.
The world ends when you put your binder in the dryer.
Really it just wears out faster.
Maybe try washing it before going to bed. That way it dries when you're asleep.
I've always wondered too... it was always a 'don't push the button' deal. I won't push it, but what happens if I do?
I put mine in the dryer at first but i dont anymore jus bc im paranoid. itll be fine if you put em in the dryer jus make sure you put em on the lowest gentlest setting.
i have always dried mine in the dryer, it shrinks them, ive had mine for about 2 years now and it still works
