My favorite is hookers pasta and not just because of the name, it's easy to make and tasty. It's also called pasta puttanesca.
mac n cheese count?

I adore that stuff, all garlicy and capery and anchovy-y. I always pick that one.
I like pasta for it's squishiness.
Linguine with Clams (White Sauce) is probably my favorite.
Fettuccine with extra Parmesan and cauliflower.

Hmm, I might have to try making that one night.
One of the things I love about pasta is the large selection of different types you can use depending upon what you want to make :) except when I'm feeling indecisive... Then such a large selection of options is a real bitch :P
I'm actually eating spaghetti right now, lmao
homemade egg noodles in crockpot casseroles.
I love angel hair for cooking in three minutes!
And who doesn't love the kissie lips face you make when sucking a long spaghetti noodle in?
Some of my fondest memories of living on my own was making pasta...
This was the first Thanksgiving dinner I made for myself:

Only when the noodle slaps you in the face and throws sauce up your nose or in your eyes-then ya gotta love it! I love it that you can do just about anything with it-with just about anything-especially tomatoes! Ummm, penne! When you can't decide just close your eyes and throw what ever you grab first into the water!!!
Randi
Ahhh, I only do that to ramen noodles. >.<

Baked Ziti. Made a big batch of it last night. Browned some sausage, then mixed in garlic, roasted red pepper, marinara sauce, and ricotta, then mixed in the pasta, put it in a casserole dish with mozzerella and baked till it was all melty and delicious. :)
I love pasta but could never get the spaghetti eating technique. There is always more over me and my clothes than in me. So I tend to go for the tubes.
I totally love making my own pasta, it is so different, so tender so ....pasta ish. Mmm might have to make some this weekend.

Put pasta on warm platter or individual plates and spoon chili on top. Sprinkle with cheese. Add some onions and crushed red pepper if so desired.
Or open a can of chili and add spaghetti
Chili Pasta-Yum or like Garfield said-La,La,Lasanga-loved the song!
Man! My two favourite foods! Chili and spaghetti :D
I love pasta. Especially if there is seafood in it. Mmmmm. Seafood linguine.

Holy crap, that sounds good.
More of a soup, but pasta ->-bleeped-<-iolli? Yeah, I could eat that for months and never get sick of it. I'm so glad I finally broke the family curse of being unable to make it like my Mimi. I got that thing down pat now, and it makes me so happy to smell it wafting through the house again. Damnit, now I'm hungry.
OMG!!! I have nearly created the pasta salad of the Goddesses!!! I say nearly because there are a couple of ingredients that I think should be in there
It is a Delicious, nutritious delight from heaven and I'm already considering different variations of it ;D
Yum yum :)
I like how pasta steams up all your windows on a winter night. Hugs, Tracey
Red Sauce or pesto...
Yum yum yum!!!
Fantastic and very simple recipe, "Pesto alla Siciliana". (self explanatory you don't have to understand Italian)

I love Pasta Alfredo
I like it, but I don't eat all that much of it on my diet.
I love pasta and eat it on a regular basis.
A pasta thread? I am a happy man! :D I love me some fettuccine alfredo with chicken, linguine with clams (white sauce), and other variations with lots of sea food. However, I don't get to eat it often so it really is a luxury.

Coming from the land of hicks and barbecues, I honest-to-god use a bib when I eat pasta. It often takes funny looks for me to remember that other people don't do that. XD
I made Crab, spinach and ricotta Cannelloni last night and it actually came out really good 8) A happy pasta is a good pasta
Here's the recipe (http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/giada-de-laurentiis/crab-and-ricotta-cannelloni-recipe/index.html) :) You can print it out
Instead of a jar of commercial Alfredo or Carbonara sauce I have been using Scallopini sauce as it seems to have a bit more body to it , in a Marinara.
Love it,had spinach and ricotta caneloni last night.I like 4 cheese ravioli in tomato sauce best

I usually will follow recipes fairly closely but will often make a variation here and there also :)
A nice French restaurant I went to recently had lobster macaroni and cheese as an appetizer. It was wonderful.
I usually use whole wheat pasta, when I have it, because it is lower on the glycemic index.
I wish there was more variety in frozen gluten free pasta dishes especially lasagna since anything with cheese seems to be a no-no; that or the "cheese" is nothing like melted cheese or even cheese sauce I buy regularly.
off topic: anybody know where to find a lid for a 3 kg food service sized tin?
I like the long pasta in the blue box by a company called something similar to Barista. It's slightly more expensive than generic but usually on sale. We make it with red sauce with vegetables cooked in and garlic toast and black tea.

Oh yes, Barilla pastas are the best :) I noticed that about the pricing also, It seems to always be on sale which sometimes makes it less than the generic brands :eusa_think: Sometimes I wonder if it's done purposefully as some kind of marketing trip
Another Barilla fan here. I use the campanella and pipette a lot.
Thanks for the I.D. on the brand Jamie. :D
One of my favorite things about pasta is when I have to feed grumpy carnivores they're always happy when I offer noodles of any sort. :)
I do like the taste of a good lasagna!
