I assumed that once I got used to using the men's room I wouldn't have a problem peeing, but that hasn't really happened....
Have any of you ever had problems with a shy bladder and how do you deal with it?
I do use an stp, but I always get nervous that it'll leak, I did get a new one and I'm still figuring it out, maybe that'll help....
So do any of you have any suggestions?
It happens also with AMAB persons. If there is a basin close by, just open the tap and let the water run out. Works like magic! :-)

I have the same problem with my STP, it's a 3-in-1 that I got from Singapore. I've noticed that I don't tend to have accidents when I just do it. I just mess up when I think about it too much. I'm still not quite confident enough to use the urinals at the public restrooms. But for the most part, just breath slowly, and relax, tends to just come out after that.
Someone here suggested counting down from 10. I've found that works best for me so far :)
I'm assuming you already use the stall?
Because that definitely helps
and getting into the right state of mind, like imagining you're alone and/or at home, or somewhere you like.
Maybe closing you're eyes to imagine this before going (and then opening your eyes hopefully, don't want to miss =p)
I have a shy bladder too. Its no longer that im nervous about leaking or anything like that, but it just takes me a little while. ill be standing at the urinal like any time now.. lol. anyway what i do is just try not to think about it and just relax and go. It seems to help for me when i just clear my brain and stop thinking about it.
