I feel like I am trying make up for the clothes I wanted to wear when I was younger but did not get to. All my senses goes back to when I wanted dress like the cis girls but I was unable to. ???

Agreed. Now is a good time to start over, and find your style. I'd say look at other women your age, and maybe do shop online a little bit. I like to look at the fashion mags such as Wallpaper*, Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, etc. to get ideas. If that's not your style, there's also Format, Nylon, and quite a few others.

Thanks Karen, I forgot about In Style. That's an excellent resource to find your look.
A good read of the junk mail is a great place to start looking for ideas. Local equivalents of Target, Myer, Big W etc catalogues.
In Style, Shop till you Drop and similar magazines are great value too. Not necessarily with a view to shopping, but just to see what the next season's trends are. They give a lot of lead time so we can save up!
Once you have sorted out what your personal look is likely to be, then you can look more seriously.

I think it had something to do with fact I went used store to find out my size. But I also found clothes with memorys tagged to it. I went to the mall last week. I had to get out of there I thought I was going to buy all their panties. I know the style. I like it what I am saying is my trip to the used store left me with a lot of clothes from the past feelings they were cheap and I bought them. I was filling a past need looking for my size just wanted to know if anyone did that.
Maybe I should reword subject? I wrote this 4 in the morning even I thought it sounded like I am wearing out dated stuff. LOl.

That is wear my soon to be ex-wife get her clothes from.
Too many people get hung up on trying to live their second puberty and completely lose sight of the fact that appropriate for a teenager IS NOT generally going to be appropriate for ANYONE over the age of 25 or 30.
The other problem I have seen with a lot of early-in-transition peeps (and even a few post-ops) is when they insist on trying to wear stuff that is not something that looks good on anyone over a Juniors size 5. The reality is that what someone in the 115lb range can absolutely rock is NOT usually going to look good on someone over 160lbs (or who has larger than a 26" waist).
When one builds a size, age and career-appropriate wardrobe, then no, there tend not to be issues with what to wear and when...DON'T be a walking stereotype.
I guess I don't really look at age specificity when I buy my clothes, I just buy what I like. Granted, the stores I shop in are aimed at people a bit younger than me (Forever 21, Wet Seal, Love Culture, etc.) but most people don't even come close when they try to guess my age so it all works out. :laugh:
The funny this is, back when I was age-appropriate for those types of stores, those stores didn't really exist. It was the height of grunge and everyone in my world wore the same baggy flannels--boy, girl, or otherwise. I protested and went goth.

I still like a nice plaid flannel shirt. :) And it seems they're making a comeback.

You're going to need to experiment to find what styles suit you. What you think may look awesome on you may look horrible and vice versa.

I think you are right abot that I have seen out fits on different women the body type seems to change everything.
Figuring out what to wear isn't so difficult. Once I understand something I can work it. The issue is I've never had a strong sense of fashion. T-Shirt + jeans. So figuring out what works is kind of tricky for me. I rely heavily on my best friends girlfriend. She's been a huge crutch for me in this department, figuratively and literally. It sucks not knowing how to dress yourself. What goes where, why you do this or that, when something is appropriate or the fashion :police: will come knocking.
On that note, anyone have any good "how do I freaking dress myself" resources? Because it's getting pretty embarrassing knowing I like the apple and the cinnamon, but completely failing to understand how they might fit together.

We already posted a few good resources. Or, if it comes to a specific article of clothing google is a great resource. In example; type: wear with pink skirt, and you will find many posts in regards with what matches best. You will also note that http://www.polyvore.com/ (http://www.polyvore.com/) is a result. That website is fantastic for piecing outfits together, along with where to buy the specific article and how much it costs.
