Hi everyone!
I'm a 31 year old MTF from Toronto. This past year I've started to come to terms with being trans after struggling with it my whole life (better late than never, right??). I've been started taking steps towards transitioning and figured a joining a community like this one would help.
I've been lurking around these boards for the past couple of months and have found a lot of the info discussed here really helpful! Thanks to everyone for the wonderful insight and hopefully I can contribute equally well in the future! :)

Hi Hailey,
I'm on the Left Coast myself and I'm 39 so I figure we have a bit in common. I tried to ignore it for a good chunk of my life and have decided that it actually was reducing my ability to be who I am and actually get enjoyment out of it. I'm much happier having accepted myself and moving forward even though I'm just starting out.
I hope your journey goes well and welcome.

It always felt like I was living a partial or incomplete life and led to alot of unhappiness. I've been feeling much better since accepting myself and taking steps towards transitioning.
Thanks very much for the warm welcome!
