Top choice imo is Dr. Zurkowski hands down. No other surgeon can do what he does and also BA is perfect. Many surgeons will mislead you into thinking they can do BA and later you find out they are too lateral. They just do not know how to make the pockets accordingly to the male body structure..I would not go to another dr for FFS or BA.

I assume you had FFS with Dr. Z? If so, would you mind sharing before and after pics and your experience? I have my date set with him in January.
Here..Sorry, not too good on attchments..Dr. Z is amazing..I was into bodybuilding then had to do reverse training and change up my diet. I have consulted with every major FFS surgeon in the US and Dr. Zurkowski is THE best FFS surgeon in the country. Even his in house OR suite is better equipped and cleaner than any hospital ive ever been in. Also his BA is fantastic! no need to question this surgeon's abilities.

I will put this up so ppl can know alittle of what i did to achieve this radical change. First off, i was doing what a bodybuilder would intake in cals, which was 3-4k in lean meats (poultry, like chicken, lean red meats, whey protein isolates at least 4 per day), 1.5mg of protein per lb of body weight is the norm for a bber. Now i only take in about 50-100mg of protein a day, also i take some major supplements..,My main are a very good multi-vitamin that is time released, Triple Chlorophyll, Red Yeast Rice to help with cholesterol, Ester C timed release 1000 mg per day. and Flax oil capsules 1000mg per day. im also still taking 4 mg estrogen split 2mg am and 2mg pm and 50mg spirnolactone once per day. Drs usually recommend 2mg of Estrogen aft GRS, but aft FFS i wanted more fem look and body and imo 2mg doesnt cut it. i take them sub-lingual (dissolve under the tongue0. i do ALOT of cardio! Im talking 60min on a Lifefitness Treadmill on the highest incline for about 30 minutes and the rest 10 min on runnng and 5 off. for 1 mile..then i cool down for 10 mins..in all i do about 830 cals on the treadmill, then i do another 300 cals on an elliptical on level 2 manual, which takes about 30 mins. So i burn at least 1100 cals in cardio per day and i do this 6 days a wk. i also do my ab with an ab crunch with plates, the abdominizer, then the decline bench with a 10lb weight, first doing up and down on the highest incline then going from side to side for the obliques. i will also take a 10lb plate and do about 15 reps per side standing up rotating sides for about 4 sets per side., That is my abdominal workout, then i do tri pull downs, 3 sets of 40lbs then increase to 50lbs for one more set of 15, so altogether 4 sets (3 sets of 40 15 reps each and 50lbs for 15 reps0 i alternate this with the 10 lb plate doing the side obliques as mentioned above. Then i will start the legs..First i do 4 sets of leg presses..where you are sitting down and pull the plates up with the knees,..,i do 3 sets of 90lbs and 1 set of 100lbs 15 reps, then i go to the outer abductor and do 3 sets of 100 at 15 reps and 110lbs 15 reps, then i go to the inner abductor and do 90lbs 15 reps 3 sets and the last one 100lbs 15 reps..Then i go to the leg press and do 150lbs for 3 sets then take only the balls of my feet and go up and down to get the calfs and then 1 do 155lb 15 reps then 160lbs 15 reps..Then i go to the reverse press where you lay on your stomach and get the glutes and hamstrings pulling the plates up to the buttocks, start off with 50lb 3 sets of 10 reps and up to 60lb 15 reps. lastly i do tris with dumbells and then use a 40lb curlng bar for the bis doing 3 sets of 10 reps and then 50lb for another 10 reps., I will use the Smith machine to do deadlifts twice per wk starting with 95lbs and 15 reps 3 times then 120lbs for 10 reps. i do this workout 6 days a wk. i eat very clean..no junk foods..oatmeal with sugarless maple syrup and alittle "i cant believe its not butter" about 1-1/2 cups of oatmeal, and protein shake with bananna, blended with a scoop of my whey pure protien isolate Cake Batter flavor i mix in about 1/2 teaspoon of instant coffee and 1/2 bananna sliced in, and cover the bottom with Vanilla Breeze Almond Milk and the rest crushed ice, three raw egg whites, and 6oz water and blend until it is like a smoothie...it tastes like a mocha shake..very good. hardly any carbs and no sugars, very low sodium..u can pm me the brand i use. That is my breakfast, i will take with me a 32oz container of water with ice in it and AMPED by MET-RX mixed in. That is my workout drink which helps me with energy and helps aid in recovery. i drink that and another bottle of plain water while im working out so it comes to about a gallon of water workin out. i will come home do another shake, then i do dinner which is usually a lean meat, chicken, or fish..i particularly like salmon, then some kind of veggie, and or a plain potato or yam..no butter only some pepper and the "i cant believe its not butter light.' i will have a yoplait light for a snack or a Eddy's frozen fruit bar later. that is my diet..i do other things to cut, but is not the normal for a newbie...but it tears into the muscle to make u catabolic..it will not divulge this, as it can be harmful if not used correctly..mainly is to stay clean with the diet., no simple sugars, very low fats, low carbs, no sodiums, and i dont eat pasta, or bread at all. This is how i cross trained for the first year to get that v-hour glass figure..it takes alot of work, but if you want to look really good, you have to put in the time. i lost all my bulk with in the first 8 months. i can show u, but might be too explicit for an open forum, but i already had the woman look at 6 months of doing this and the hormones will take much more effect if you eat right like this and exercise..i try to stay in keto all the time..i know this is kind of drastic, but i am willing to do what it takes to get to my goal. This is Dr Zurkowski's site..http://www.mlzukowskiffs.com/his (http://www.mlzukowskiffs.com/his) pics of other TG's do not even half way show what this man can do...he is simply amazing...i had two revisionary s with Dr. 0 as far as the scalp advancement with forehead lift and didnt even come close to what this man can do and hes alot less expensive..hes not afraid to go beyond and get all of the male traits out..where as most quote FFS surgeons are afraid to go to radical and simply do not do enough..i can name names, but i wont on a public forum.He will get you there the first time..i know alot of pre ops simply can not afford to pay for revisionary work, so that is why i think you may see alot of post ops that look....welll ,masculine still..They simply had a surgeon that would not do enough and still charge them a very high price and then they cant afford to get it corrected. As far as BA Dr. Z is the man! There is no one that can do what he does. i also can show you, but it is much to explicit to put up, unless i get approval from a mod. i sure hope this helps future pre ops not have to go through all the revisionary work i had to do because i had a surgeon that didnt really know how to do FFS on a mtf..same with BA many surgeons do not know how to do a mtf breast and do it like a genetic females and they turn out with a very wide medial gap. Dr Z will not do this..he will also get you the correct size for your frame. i highly suggest that one get into the best shape they can be in b4 undergoing surgery, especially getting to or near your goal weight.,

I don't know, I think it's all personal opinion. I suggest you look at as many before and afters as you can and make decisions based on the results you see. There's a group on yahoo, FFS 2 or something, I think. Join it, ask questions, see lots of pics. Talk to each doc. Pic the one who seems to fit with what you are looking for :) Good luck! Meghan
